I disagree with blocking the posts. I think if it's something that you don't agree with, do what I started doing, just ignore it. I see posts all the time from our more liberal patrons that I don't agree with (and quite a few that I don't agree with from CRT, too!), but I just keep on scrollin'.

I wonder if the folks I see online and IRL who are seriously on about the "NOT MY PRESIDENT" thing realize they look just as stupid as the morons who did it to Obama or Bush Jr or whoever.

I ignore and try not post personal attacks unlike a few posts in this Thread. If one does not like my posts, my threads can be blocked by the individual's personal settings. Jokes are fine, but pitiful when I see pointless posts that name call our President with anger and no meat to add to the discussion. What happened to Liberals with a more open mind accepting anyone of color, background, sexual orientation, etc?

@ prfsnl_gmr - Apologies concerning the NonProfits, not meaning as anything against your spouse or the individual workers. It is just a general statement to all the organizations that have any sort of tax exempt status, a fault to the Government to allow it. I stand corrected on the take home pay portion being taxed, apologies. That stated, the take home pay should be the mark to question the Tax Exempt in a so called "NonProfit" and the organization should pay the sales and property taxes as well. The true charities are shamed with CEO pay and groups claiming to be a NonProfit organizations when they are in fact profiting; sometimes even their title a contradiction.

Nonprofits are also exempt from paying sales and property taxes. While the income of a nonprofit organization may not be subject to federal taxes, nonprofit organizations do pay employee taxes (Social Security and Medicare) just like any for-profit company.

Trump signs five more orders on pipelines, steel and environment

► A memorandum expediting the Keystone XL Pipeline, a proposed 1,179-mile cross-border pipeline from Alberta to Nebraska.

► A memorandum directing the secretary of the Army to "review and approve in an expedited manner" the Dakota Access Pipeline, a 1,172-mile pipeline from North Dakota to Illinois.

► A memorandum requiring the secretary of Commerce to come up with a plan to mandate American-made steel for all new, expanded or retrofitted pipelines in the United States.

► A memorandum to all federal agencies to review manufacturing regulations.

► An executive order fast-tracking approval for "high-priority infrastructure projects."

"This is the expediting of environmental reviews and approvals for high-priority infrastructure projects," Trump said. "We can’t be in an environmental process for 15 years if a bridge is falling down. If it’s a no, we'll give them a quick no, and if it’s a yes, it's like 'Let's start building,' " he said. "The regulatory process in this country has become a tangled-up mess, and very unfair to people."

President Trump meets with Detroit auto executives
Trump hosted a breakfast meeting early Tuesday with the heads of General Motors, Ford Motor Co. and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Prior to the meeting, Trump tweeted that he wants "new plants to be built here for cars sold here." He has warned of a "substantial border tax" on companies that move manufacturing out of the country and promised tax advantages to those that produce domestically.

For more than two decades, Mexico has been an oasis for the auto industry, offering cheap labor and access to dozens of markets through free-trade deals. Whitman says Detroit automakers can't build small cars profitably in the U.S., where a unionized auto worker can make $58 an hour in wages and benefits. By comparison, a Mexican auto assembly worker makes a little more than $8. Trump's border tax would hurt some automakers more than others. Volkswagen, for example, imports 32 percent of the vehicles its sells in the U.S. from Mexico, according to LMC. But Honda imports just 11 percent, and that's expected to fall this year after it moves production of the CR-V SUV from Mexico to Indiana.

Automakers expressed optimism after the meeting. "I think as an industry we're excited about working together with the president and his administration on tax policies, on regulation and on trade to really create a renaissance in American manufacturing," Ford CEO Mark Fields said after the meeting. Speaking to reporters at the Detroit auto show, Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said his company might withdraw from Mexico altogether if tariffs got too high. "Those plants were designed, built and purposed at a time when NAFTA was alive and well," he said. "It's one of the perils associated with the business that we run."
