I was gonna be on board for Zelda anyway. I don't usually get hyped these days, but man, that trailer has me hyped. I really was fighting back a few (manly) tears at the awesomeness.

Thing with Zelda is that it'll be on Wii U as well, so unless the Switch version is $300 better, I dunno. May be an interesting head to head to read on Digital Foundry

Personally, from what we were shown, I'm in no rush.

If it fell into my lap as a birthday gift I wouldn't complain, but other than Zelda I wouldn't know what to do with it. Hopefully the next event will clear stuff up.

I'll buy it on the platform it performs best on. If that's Wii U, so be it. I'll end up with a Switch sooner than later, though. I could have bought Twilight Princess on GC, but I went with the Wii, and I suspect it'll be the same this time.

Actually, I just realized, though. The two Joy-Cons are basically two Wii remotes with extra functionality. Those sell for $40, right? Wii remote with Nunchuk would be $60. It's still expensive, but I can see it, I suppose.

My secret will be what I did with the Wii: wait for them to start floating through my local Dirt Cheap.

Looks like Amazon has release for the Wii U version of Zelda as the 3/31 wonder if that's filler or official.

NM it's coming out on the 3rd as well . That might be a bad move on there part.
