I've never played either version. And I'm not trying to get into a "my console is better then yours" fight with anyone. :D But until just now with the recent replying here on racketboy absolutely no-one had actually given me a reason why I should stick to the PC for those games. I was just wondering what the difference was between the two versions, so thank you for informing me.

Actually, scratch that. I'm going to get all of them for the PSOne. Oooooh!
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Yet so far, not one person has given a single reason (Valid or otherwise) why the PC version is actually definitively better. Is there an actual reason? Or are you and the many people like you just being PC purists?
I suppose I was giving you the benefit of a doubt, seeing as at least a few reasons are readily apparent. One, both Warcraft II and Diablo feature (and make great use of) online play. The console versions do not. Two, all three games were made with a mouse in mind and taking a mouse away detracts greatly from the ease of menu navigation and, err, point and click gameplay (heavily apparent in Riven). Pointing and clicking certainly isn't what the d-pad was intended for. Three, there's absolutely no expansions or mods with a PSX (while Warcraft II for PSX includes both expansions, Diablo is missing the Hellfire expansion, which includes a fourth class, Monk). All three of those reasons are logical to anyone that knows anything about a PSX and PC.

Moreover, PC generally had the leg up in terms of graphics in that generation. Playstation games were often much more "grainy" than their PC counterparts. Diablo is bad enough where the lack of details on the Playstation can actually be a hindrance, obscuring enemies. Here's a comparison of the endings of Diablo for PSX and PC, which points out a lot more detail in the PC version (turn the volume down if you're worried about spoilers):

Saving is also a bit of a chore with at least Warcraft II and Diablo (Diablo requires 10 out of 15 memory card slots and Warcraft II saves very slowly).

Of the three, I guess Riven would be the most playable on a console. The lack of a mouse would drive me bonkers (Adventure games practically invented the term "point and click"), but otherwise the differences may not be too substantial. I've never played the PSX version, so I have no idea how the graphics compare, though I would presume not favorable to the PSX.
