Still a good game. Just a hard, sometimes frustrating one : )

You're doing everything right, mas. Playing Beat 'em ups on Sega Genesis is the correct way to live one's life.

I actually love the series more than final fight. I always just preferred sega over Nintendo. Don't get me wrong the snes and nes are awesome systems and the best games were out on that but I just love the arcade type no holds barred in your face blast processing chocolate chip cookie wanting attitude that sega put out in the 90's. Don't believe me? Wrong answer man. Show em lol
For me I love beat em ups. My top pics are streets of rage, punisher, tmnt, and oddly death and return of super man.

No shame in Death and Return of Superman. It's not complex or anything, but you still get to beat some ass. Played through it a handful of times in my younger days.

Though you'd think since it's Superman you could just punch guys once and they'd be done...

It bugs me that you can't fly in this game. Who makes a Superman game without super strength, x-ray vision, or the ability to fly? C'mon!

Superman seems like he'd be so hard to nail down properly in a video game without just turning into GOD: THE EXPERIENCE.

Death and Return of Superman is a video game featuring a guy dressed up like Superman, except that he's slower than a speeding bullet, less powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap knee high in a single bound. That's not really the Superman experience I was seeking.

Hard, but not impossible. I cannot think of a single video game that got Superman really right, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. Imagine Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction but with the ability to fly and X-Ray vision. There should be some kind of good vs evil mechanic (think KOTOR) that rewards the player for doing good deeds rather than using super powers for evil.

Doesn't superman fly in the first game on the Sega Genesis. I've always somehow liked that game. I remember renting the game at Blockbuster almost once a month

yeah, games like Hulk: Ultimate Destruction proved to me you can totally nail certain characters in games, it just takes some work. Punisher, Spidey, Batman, several greats have had that - superman's flight in Returns was good, at least. they just need a game built around that.

..god i'd kill for a good Daredevil game.
