We had a great News Conference at Trump Tower today. A couple of FAKE NEWS organizations were there but the people truly get what's going on. James Clapper called me yesterday to denounce the false and fictitious report that was illegally circulated. Made up, phony facts. Too bad! CNN is in a total meltdown with their FAKE NEWS because their ratings are tanking since election and their credibility will soon be gone! Press Secretary Sean Spicer gave a prolonged opening statement concerning the Russian Hacks; yet the Media wasted valuable News Conference time asking repeat Russian Hack questions focused on the most recent fake news put out by CNN and BuzzFeed! Trump tore CNN up yesterday, rebutting them as Fake News. CNN reporter Jim Acosta tried to justify CNN's fake story, by yelling out during the question session and again afterwards. Sean Spicer right after the conference confronted Acosta that he would be removed if he ever rudely interrupted again. Good for Spicer, just like Trump will not put up with any disrespect.
A shame the News Conference started and ended with pointless questions of Russian Hack rumors. Trash TV questions; more focus should have been placed on Trump's First 100 Day Plans as President! Stupid Journalists focused on worthless garbage and not real news.
CNN should publicly apologize to Michael Cohen for the lies. Though Trump refused to answer CNN Acosta, he answered a question from a CNN Jeremy Diamond, two CNN reporters in the press room!

NBC Undercuts CNN's Rationale for Running Fake Trump/Russia News
As we all now know, the salacious and unsubstantiated allegations about Donald Trump and his campaign with respect to Russia have been floating around various news rooms for the better part of a year. Apparently desperate to humiliate Trump by releasing the news that this information is out there, late Tuesday afternoon the leftwing CNN did so, and used as its primary rationale the fact that Trump had been briefed on the matter by senior intelligence officials.
NBC News is now reporting that President-elect Trump was not briefed on these matters:
"President-elect Donald Trump was not told about unverified reports that Russia has compromising information on him during last week's intelligence briefing, according to a senior intelligence official with knowledge of preparations for the briefing. A summary of the unverified reports was prepared as background material for the briefing, but not discussed during the meeting, the official said. According to the senior official, the two-page summary about the unsubstantiated material made available to the briefers was to provide context, should they need it, to draw the distinction for Trump between analyzed intelligence and unvetted "disinformation." The briefers also had available to them unvetted "disinformation" about the Clinton Foundation, although that was not orally shared with Trump.

I slugged thru the CNN Town Hall Q/A. Though the audience questions were screened ahead of time by CNN, Paul Ryan had great answers. CNN Moderator Jake Tapper when pressing Russian Hack got a great retort from Ryan with concerns (26 minutes into the video) of the
private research by a political opponent on unsubstantiated RUMORS and elevated as an official intelligence report!

The Democratic National Committee tried to provide CNN anchor Wolf Blizter with questions to ask Donald Trump, the latest WikiLeaks email dump has revealed. Among the batch of 8,263 emails released on Sunday night, one shows that
staff working for the network hosts asked DNC staffers what questions they should put to the Republican candidate. They also asked for advice when it came to an appearance from former candidate, Ted Cruz.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald told Fox News Thursday that there is "obvious open warfare" between the intelligence community and President-elect Donald Trump, with Democrats "openly calling for and cheering for the intervention of the CIA." Greenwald spoke to "Tucker Carlson Tonight" regarding reports that Trump and President Barack Obama had been briefed about unverified allegations that Russian spies had collected compromising personal and financial information about the president-elect. A dossier containing the most salacious allegations was published by BuzzFeed earlier this week.
Greenwald said Democrats and liberals are "hoping ... that this unelected faction in Washington will undermine and subvert and destroy the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s presidency before he’s even inaugurated and I think what you’re seeing is actually quite dangerous." The Intercept writer told Carlson that he believed the Central Intelligence Agency supported Democrat Hillary Clinton during the recent presidentil election because Trump "was a threat to the CIA’s primary institutional priority of regime change in Syria.
