I Updated my earlier post on the Wikileaks interview where Julian Assange stated that his sources were not the Russians. He goes on into detail of why he runs WikiLeaks due to the mainstream media with so much influential power not maintaining honest integrity.

Can you just imagine that if WikiLeaks had information about Debbie Wasserman Schultz helping to rig the primary with Bernie Sanders and we withheld that information until after the election? That would be an absolutely unconscionable act for a media organization to engage in. Unfortunately, those sorts of acts do happen. But not with this organization.

Kellyanne Conway went to @MeetThePress this morning for an interview with @chucktodd. Dishonest media cut out 9 of her 10 minutes. Terrible! Before I, or anyone, saw the classified and/or highly confidential hacking intelligence report, it was leaked out to @NBCNews. So serious!

Trump does not trust the "Dishonest Media"; Conway has been the liaison on the major networks. The mainstream media notably NBC, are pushing the edge and just might lose their direct contact to Trump news source if they do not maintain honest journalist integrity.

Conway, smacking back at a CNN report that said Trump's team knew the interview would be edited for time, suggested she was angry about it because the incoming administration's point of view had been cut. 'We're not in the business of furnishing 10-minute Sunday show interviews so media can choose which "soundbite" to run,' Conway tweeted.



Todd was trying to find out if Trump accepted the conclusions drawn by the U.S. intelligence community, which were that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an 'influence campaign' to sway the presidential election in favor of the Republican nominee.

Conway, in the clip broadcast on TV, pointed out that the report said the Russians 'aspired to' or 'attempted.' The takeaway, she said, was that they didn't succeed. 'There is no evidence that Russia succeeded in any alleged attempt to disrupt our democracy or to influence the election results,' Conway said.

Todd pointed out to his panelists that this seemed to signal a 'tacit acceptance' of the intelligence community's conclusions. 'I feel as if they have moved a little bit,' Todd said. NBC News' Andrea Mitchell replied and said Conway's statements may mean she's moved on the issue, but pointed out that the president-elect, in his tweets, suggest he hasn't accepted the report's findings. 'It was not an investigation into if they succeeded, the very attempt is the issue,' Mitchell also added.

In the original interview, Conway pivoted and went after the media. 'And respectfully, many in the mainstream media also tried to attempt to influence our election reports for Hillary Clinton. They too failed,' Conway told Todd. Conway and Todd then engaged in a back and forth over how NBC News received details on the intelligence presented to President Obama on Russia before it was told to the president-elect.

NBC released the Transcript of the aired video, nothing showing Conway's confrontation on mainstream media election influence. Sad that even when Conway stated she did not believe in the hack, NBC Meet The Press alluded she did believe in the hack!

CHUCK TODD: Okay, guys. I heard one piece of news there from Kellyanne, Andrea, I wonder if you heard the same thing, which is okay, there seems to be a tacit acceptance of the intelligence community conclusions that Russia attempted to disrupt. And so I feel as if they have moved a little bit.

ANDREA MITCHELL: Well, she has. Not the president-elect in his tweets about this, because he lumped Russia, China, all the other bad actors on cyber attacks, which we've known about in the past. This was a report in an investigation into Russia. And it was not an investigation into whether they succeeded. The very attempt is the issue.

RICK SANTELLI: Okay, it's intelligence. Where was all of this when the D.N.C. was hacked in June? See, this wasn't made an issue. Because it would have put the emails and Hillary's server right in the middle in the thick of it. That's why this went under the radar screen. This is all tied together.

They interfered, they are creating this chaos, we are two weeks outside of an inauguration. And we have chaos around what happened during an election process. So I think that there was success.

So, our intelligence agencies have been keeping a lot of their information on Russian hacking under wraps, but it turns out a lot of that information is currently available if you know where to look and how to put the pieces together. Here's a great TechDirt piece on what evidence is available, how solidly it supports our various intelligence agencies' conclusions, and how the information was gleaned. The information is clear. Assange and Wikileaks have been very careful to say that the Russian government didn't provide them directly with the leaked data, but that doesn't mean Russia didn't orchestrate the hacks. They've also said there's no evidence vote totals were change or actual election apparatus were hacked, which is also true. And the intelligence agencies and the White House have never claimed it was. What is clear is that we cannot in any quantify how these leaks affected the election, though it's pretty easy to see that the hacks DID affect the election. But the intelligence agencies wisely choose to point out that that measuring that sort of thing isn't their job.

Whoever did do the Hack (the arguments can go on forever over the real source) brought to light how Sanders was cheated with help from the DNC. Clinton thru the corruption of beating Sanders; ironic the Primary Election "tampering" exposed by Wikileaks one of the reasons she lost the Presidency, the real "throwing" of the election.

A concern is the fast track of Hillary Clinton that might have been a racial motive? Israel a huge negative with the Democrat Party evidenced with the recent abstain from UN vote with accusations of instigating it before Trump took office. Sanders is Jewish, a speculation on my part as maybe why he was hindered by the DNC?

It's finally happening - Fiat Chrysler just announced plans to invest $1BILLION in Michigan and Ohio plants, adding 2000 jobs. This after Ford said last week that it will expand in Michigan and U.S. instead of building a BILLION dollar plant in Mexico. Thank you Ford & Fiat C!

I could care less of the protests when deals to create jobs are made with simple tweets. Getting results is what counts, a smart move putting the companies on the world internet view. Look at how Government spending has locked in with the "Swamp". Eisenhower was right decades ago concerning the Military Industrial Complex when taken from the economist view.

These companies are paying closest attention to Trump's tweets
President-elect Donald Trump's threats to selectively penalize U.S. manufacturers for moving production offshore may be difficult to enforce. But for companies that depend on the U.S. government for a big chunk of revenues, his Twitter rants are hard to ignore. The Trump tweet was another in a series of threats to slap a tax on companies that move production to Mexico and ship products back to the U.S. under the North American Free Trade Agreement.

On Tuesday, Ford announced that it will cancel production of a $1.6 billion plant in Mexico, and will instead invest $700 million in Flat Rock, Michigan. Trump's other targets have included Amazon.com, Boeing and Macy's. It remains to be seen whether Trump can selectively penalize individual companies with higher taxes. As part of a broader corporate tax reform, he has also proposed tax penalties for companies that move production offshore. Such a move would face opposition from many industries.

Regardless of how his new administration makes good on those threats, companies that rely heavily on federal contracts will remain leery of getting off on the wrong foot with the new administration. While thousands of companies from dozens of industries do business with the federal government every year, the biggest contracts go to defense and health-care companies.

Which members will take the most heat? Most of Trump's picks do not sit well with the Democrat side of Congress as well as a few Republicans. I am not familiar with all his picks, my thoughts on these.

Rex Tillerson - Secretary of State
Businessman for the position with established positive contact with Russia and other rival countries has raised concerns. The good business relations can be a positive as long as not for personal agenda. I had hoped former UN Secretary John Bolton would have had this spot.

Scott Pruit - Environmental Protection Agency
The man who wanted to abolish the agency at one time, likely to remove many of the regulations. With the backlash already, the agency though reduced will remain. This good if done right in relation to the environment, is to cut out all the red regulation tape in relation to job creation.

Betsy DeVos - Secretary of Education
She is an advocate of School Choice, Charter Schools and Private Schools. I am for school choice only if students living in a given area are not denied access to their primary location. As to Private Schools and Charter schools that do not follow state standards a flat out no!

CRT, you seem unwilling to accept any evidence as conclusive unless it already agrees with your world view. Well, my opinion is that there are far more thoughtful and critical conservatives on this board, and I enjoy my discussions with them. I mostly just get irritated at you. I am constantly concerned by your willingness to be taken in by a showman with no real interest in the presidency or the larger world outside his ego. The evidence, being his words and actions, as well as those of the congress in power now, suggests the next 4 years will be painful for many people in the US with little political influence or power. Nothing you have shared in this thread indicates anything to the contrary.

I have reached the point that I feel I can't reason with you, and all I have left is personal judgments that cast you in poor light. So I have to be done. Confirmation Hearings begin today, Jeff Sessions first in the fry pan. A tough emotional go up front for the first Cabinet Pick.

I watched Bernie Sanders Town Hall Meeting on CNN last night, saw some good things in the push back of NAFTA and TPP to protect U.S jobs. He urged Democrats to challenge, but not outright obstruct Trump. Thursday on CNN Town Hall is Paul Ryan, should be interesting.

I like the letter too which is a fair kick back, but also for additional reasons. The line out showing Harry Reid is out, he really screwed up in changing the rules to the 50 percent vote. Lets see if there is a timely process for the Cabinet selection which now only requires a majority.
