Every once in a while a game impresses me so much that I feel like I need to not only share it, but encourage others to play it as well. Planet Coaster is one of those games. For those of you who enjoyed Cities Skylines as much as I did last year, this is the game for you.
This is an absolute relaxation game in the same way Cities was. I fired it up to see if it was any good... and two hours went by. Literally lost track of time and thought I had only played for one hour.
Planet Coaster is made by ex-Rollercoaster Tycoon people. But I'd never played a theme park game before personally. This has it all... a super flexible system where you can design custom things; or you can just use the premade parts. OR YOU CAN HIT UP THE STEAM WORK SHOP FOR CRAZY MODS (like, Star Wars shit or Hobit holes or whatever you can think of). You can customize as deep as even importing your own music for each ride!
You can hire staff (mechanics, janitors, people dressed as robots or princess to entertain the crowds waiting in line). You can ride the rides in first person view. You can launch marketing campaigns via print or TV or internet. There's so much awesome stuff going on.
So what say you all? Can we have fun together and post awesome pictures and talk about this game?

I'm definitely in...eventually. I loved the rollercoaster tycoon series growing up(even bought the releases on steam since I've lost the disc and still as fun as ever). This looks like something I'd enjoy. The pricetag though....for the kind of game it is, i'm not sure I can justify that price for a game like this...

alright, so total geek-mode: You can actually import music files FOR EACH RIDE in your park. So now I'm totally planning the whole soundtrack for my park. Awesome.

Does this have VR support? If not, is it planned?
