So as it turns out you can skip most of level 6 in Dishonored 2 if you're willing to solve a logic grid puzzle. The goal is to be able to get past a door with a lock, and the values for the lock is the solution to a logic puzzle. So you can either go through the mission helping out people and eventually finding the solution written down on a piece of paper, or you can read the puzzle and figure it out yourself. I ended up going the latter way but still did the rest of the level (I wanted the runes and bone charms). You'll definitely want a tool to solve it, as you've got six categories with five items each and you need to make a couple of guesses as there isn't enough information in the clues themselves to come up with a solution. Trying to do that by hand will be an exercise in frustration, while a tool will let you see your concrete assertions and then the inferences from those assertions (e.g. if Comtee is wearing White no one else is) and make it easy to undo a concrete assertion and its inferences, whereas by hand you'll need to be writing down separate grids.

Kudos to Bethesda for my biggest disappointment of the year. I took the gamble on Dishonored 2, and unfortunately have to tag along all its negative Steam reviews. Even with my new GTX 1060 and running games like Witcher 3 and Mankind Divided perfectly on high settings, Dishonored 2 runs like absolute dog crap. I turned it down to low, turned everything fancy off, and it still makes me want to puke. I'm not even exaggerating, it truly is a monstrosity with framerate issues and I got dizzy after like one minute. I've never seen anything look so gross when turning and moving around.

Now even this console gamer here, is starting to pissed at this half assed PC ports. Come on devs, this shit is just inexcusable.

Hope they patch it asap. Consider yourself lucky if the game doesn't make you want to barf.

I'm plowing through Doom (4) for Xbox One right now. Oh man, is it good. I am thoroughly enjoying it. I particularly am liking how this story is unfolding too.

Third prestige in Titanfall 2. Which seems to be among the top players heh, I've seen some G4's though.

First DLC drops next week, new map and some other new add ons and such for some weapons and Titan's I believe. And remember, it's free!

Could seriously be in my top 5 for the year.

Nice! I had no idea DLC was dropping soon (and free as well!). I'm looking forward to this. I keep meaning to get into the multiplayer more, but Battlefield 1 took up a lot of my quickly diminishing free time (new father).

Haha, it was like a coin flip between this and BF1 for me... I bought both at the same time during a Target sale, but I only want to devote my time into one right now. Jumped into TF2 and I definitely have no plans to stop for awhile! I'm excited to hit up BF1 when I'm ready for something different though and I'm sure the player base for that will always be strong.

Speaking of, it seems like the player count in matchmaking for TF2 has almost doubled this week. It was averaging about 14,000 people on PS4, now it's been hovering around 20,000. So I bet the sales and the raving reviews have helped out. I sure hope Respawn can make a third one.

Yeah, I picked up both when they were released (I think they were released only one week apart, right?). Battlefield 1's multiplayer drew me in quickly, because I love the WWI setting and it's just incredible fun. TitanFall 2's single player campaign drew me in too, because it is frankly one of the greatest story campaigns I have played in a FPS in ages. It takes the best parts of games like CoD, Halo, Killzone etc., like you said, and just makes it all even better. Now I beat it, it's time for me to give the multiplayer more of my time.

TF2 is definately alot more enjoyable then BF1 sunk a fair amount of time into both over the past week or two on PS4. TF2 is fast and arcadey but balanced very well and plays great on a controller. BF1 on the other hand is a little clunky on a controller and has a much stiffer learning curve. The big thing that BF1 has over TF2 is 32v32 multiplayer which is amazing but also leads to a big issue if you are super competitive which is you can't really carry a game on your own you need a team of people who know what they are doing in BF1. If you have a team full of snipers or individuals who camp in the spawn menu waiting for vehicles only to get them destroyed immediately then you are pretty much boned :P.

TF2 also blows away BF1 in the SP which while interesting in BF1 is like an expanded tutorial with only brief experiences with 5 different characters. Some of BF1s set pieces are cool but there is a lot of bland by the number shooting segments and some so so stealth focused areas in many missions. TF2 on the other hand establishes two solid main characters and is quite a bit longer then I expected it to be. About the only thing I think TF2 could have done better is giving the enemy bosses some more depth they all felt a little stereotypical and their intros were laughably bad at the start of each fight :P. I also love that the single player campaign of TF2 introduced some awesome platforming puzzles and mechanics which really added a lot of depth to the gameplay and put some breathing room between each fight.

Not anymore. Titanfall is actually good. 8)

I still like Doom's campaign more, but yeah TF2 is seriously top tier and was an amazing surprise. I love how both are quite comparable though, they both control really well and did platforming perfectly. Simple FPS's that embrace the fun.
