Interesting. I did not know this. According to your link, this software should even run on PowerPC based Macs.
I run MacMame on my vintage iMac G3, works very well for the older Arcade Roms. If I remember right, Mame originally started out on the iMac as MacMame. Come to think about it, Egghead Software (anyone remember that store?) was the very first place I saw actual Emulated Arcade games (not conversions) individually sold on floppies for the Mac computers. This was when my PC was the Commodore 64, really wanted a home system that would play actual Arcade Roms. I had (still own) the Atari 5200 as a holdover until PCs became cheaper, discovering Emulators years later.

Yeah, it's cool. Before you play, go to Preferences → Video and disable the "Enable linear filtering" option. Doing so will result in an arcade-like appearance. Leaving it on will result in a soft image in which the pixels are not crisp.
1: Have Ouya. Love it for emulation, have it load straight into the Nostalgia front end and it's awesome. But, I've only ever used it for console emulation so I don't know how well it does for arcade.
2: If (and this is a big if) you can get reasonably proficient with ClrMamePro, you can rebuild (almost) any MAME set you want - I say almost because there's a handful of roms that have been truly lost for whatever reason, but it's not very many. There's a definite learning curve, but it's very doable. I haven't touched it in probably a year and a half at least now, but I have I think the .150 set as well as the rollback set... maybe I should break that out and get back into romming again, it was a nice low-investment (time as well as money) habit to keep up on every couple weeks.
