[quote="Thierry Henry"]Anyone have any experience with this?

Apparently inside there is a "Pandora's Box 4". The guy says "VGA and HDMI out".

The whole thing for $120. I meant to go test it and pick it up on Friday.

I've got a Pandoras Box 4 in my KI can with a switcher. Best Pandora's box there is. I think I paid $90 for the box and mines yellow. There are a few colors but watch out - lots of pandora 4 bootleg boxes with is weird because the pandora box itself is basically a boot.

Worth $120. Grab it. The fact that it's plug and play for 2P with 6 buttons each means you are all set.

Cheers. But now he tells me "Sorry, the price of 1700 ZAR ($120) is for the plain black unit. The Decaled themed unit with Gaming black handle joysticks, P1 and P2 icon button is extra"

He has yet to reply to me how much that "extra" will be.

Yeah I don't really see myself as an MVS collector. I found them cheap, and I thought why not. I mean they keep popping up and I don't pass at that price.
For example: There's currently four of them(Shock Troopers, Breakers Revenge, Fight Fever and SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos (not the "Plus" version)) selling at a little over $25 a piece. The exact condition of those, I've yet to find out.

So maybe I'll part with them. I'll ponder on it, as they say. :P Because at this moment I'm thinking that 161-in-1 cart will do me just fine.

Speaking of Garou,

To me this is legit. Maybe your more experienced eye can confirm or deny that.

Sorry about the glare.

Not sure whats up as this place always loads fast for me but it's stuck:
http://www.mvs-scans.com/index.php/Garo ... the_Wolves

There are 3 potential board sets for that game, and see for yourself yours is a match for #1 at the top, you're good.

If you do come across cheap stuff regularly enough there are some more expensive things I'd love to own I just don't see fighting ebay trolls over. I don't go much for boots, but finding an SNK vs Capcom Chaos is damn near annoying, and I'd rather not end up with a boot like the 161in1 has.

Good to know. Image

On that 161-in-1, both 'SVC Chaos Plus' and 'SNK vs Capcom Remix' refuse to work for me. Both go as far as the fighter select screen and as the bout is about to start, the whole thing freezes and goes back to the title screen.

Bad clone board, bad cart, dirty cart, dirty cart slot.

It works, remember I have that cart. The only failed game on there is Aerofighters 3 which is glitched so you can't play, and Last Blade 2 on rare-ish occasion supposedly will reset itself. Anything else if playable correctly, but due to some dumb issue (which a soldering job can fix) the audio can get high/low randomly during play on some games.

Got a Sean Kelly Multicart yesterday and spent a bit of last night beating most of the Vectrex library, despite my 4 button being wonky. Now to see if my 3d imager works.

You're right. Those do work in the 161. What I did was I mistakenly thought it was that particular multicart. In fact, those games don't work for me in the 108-in-1. And as you pointed out wrt the sound issue, on the 108 this is very evident with Strikers 1945+. Makes it almost unplayable with the sound on. Very annoying.

Well then that narrows it to the board being junk or dirty at least. Shame really as it's a fantastic massive $ saver.

There's a known cheap and easy fix, if you have one part, and are willing to scrape a little green off the board and solder 2 points. Audio is no longer a problem, not sure if it takes care of Last Blade 2's jitters but Sonic Wings/Aerofighters 3 is just a crap dump that's not salvageable at all.

I really should do it as some of the games I like such as Bust a Move Again the volume goes all over the place randomly which really sucks.

So earlier today I picked up the four MVS carts I referred to earlier.

The top one with the worn out label is 'Fight Fever'.

I opened them up and three of them are genuine 'SNK' products. I checked and confirmed from scans off of that site you linked me to.

The one I really wanted to be authentic but isn't is 'SVC Chaos'. Bit bummed out about that.
It's as fake as fake can get. It has these weird one-third size boards.

And as is the case with the SVC Chaos Plus games on that 108-in-1 cart of mine, this one is also the "Plus" variant, and just like those, this one also doesn't let me past the fighter select screen.

I'm not terrible with a soldering iron. That sounds like something I could manage.
