Re: Nintendo 3DS
Seriously, I think I've used this exact term towards their games before. I don't know what it is about the games but atlus games never fail to stay expensive just like nintendo's first party games for the most part. I've never understood fully why this happens. But admittedly they are one of few publishers I trust with my money at this point no matter what it is. Just because they generally don't put out bad games from what I've seen(even if I've not had the time to devote to finishing them). It's a tie between Atlus, Nintendo(which yes has had a few odd birds but not nesscarily bad), Xseed, and Nihon Falcom from what i can tell on this board for devs that the games are almost always worth the money....
Played the Sun and moon demo, what a strange demo. Especially since it's bizarre to me that you start with a Greninja that is lvl 36 in the game and apparently it transfers. I might have to buy S/M and see this one out. It just seems a little strange compared to other members of the series since they are obviously breaking the mold here...

Atlus tends to have lower print runs, which holds the value up.

Yeah but there's been a weird trend with most games I end up picking up and enjoying(and subsequently wishing I had the time to fully finish). They tend to be from either Atlus, XSeed/Marvelous, Nihon Falcom, and Ninty. Then there's a smaller portion from people like SE which is farther between than not...but those make up a huge chunk of my current library from what I've seen and it's not been intentional at all...

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Ok just because I randomly started up my 3ds becuase the vita was dead I can't figure this out and wonder if anyone else has seen this. On the N3DSXL it seems randomly games are ejected or randomly quit when I close/open the system. Was playing radiant historia and several times it's closed out of it when I close the system. I don't recall this issue on regular ds's or my original 3ds, and it's bugging me now. Anyone know what might be causing this? I only ask because I have a urge to go on a DS kick but this is one thing keeping me from doing so at this point...

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Apparently the 3DS lid close sleep-action isn't being detected by Radiant Historia? Try going to the 3DS Home menu while playing, and leaving Radiant Historia suspended in 3DS system memory, then closing the 3DS. Open it up and see if Radiant Historia is still suspended in memory and start it up from there.darsparx wrote:Was playing radiant historia and several times it's closed out of it when I close the system.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
See but DS games don't let me go to the Home menu without closing out. They never allowed that on the original 3DS either. They all ask you if you want to close if you really want to go to the home screen. Unless there's some hidden setting for the games that i'm missing somewhere and how.....

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Well my guess was a shot in the dark. I haven't played any DS games on any of my 3DS units.
Have you tried doing a system update lately? I'd do a system update:

Re: Nintendo 3DS
The DS games in a 3DS should just sleep like it would in a DS as it boots into that mode once you select the game card from the menu. If it didn't sleep, I couldn't figure a good reason why without google digging which you could manage. I've been lately doing DS games on my New3DS outside of picking slowly away at DQ7 which is becoming a slog.
Re: Nintendo 3DS
See and i did a update since i had to, to get that Pokemon Sun/Moon demo when I first started using it last week. I feel like I had a similar issue back when I first got the thing and was playing starfy then(which I'll have to go back and finish eventually). Guess I'll just have to do some digging while I'm trying to plan out a new case for my vita and see if I can mod it to have a better battery(I haven't charged my 3ds in a few days and the vita has been charged at least twice a day). It's just weird that it's doing this on me since I'm bad about just putting games into sleep and coming back to them(especially when you have weird games that don't have a save anywhere feature).
That and I really want to do a big DS kick. Especially since i'm really starting to think about playing a bunch of the games that are availible on DS/3DS(even though I'm starting to contemplate trying to find a r4card and put all the GB/c/a games i own on there and leave the rest in storage). The whole DS era has just become a system I'm getting more and more interested in. So much gold to be played and found there...
