I feel like my Steam feed is full of updates from Payday 2 devs weekly! Yeah.
That's because it is.

I am attending a two-day seminar on advertising law, and there have been three mentions of Pokémon Go. Moreover, we just finished a long discussion relating to the promotion of Shadow of Mordor on YouTube. :?

...did any of those things violate advertising law? I'm confused how those came up.

Pokémon Go just presents interesting issues. Warner Bros. got into a lot of trouble, however.

Good. To hell with Warner Bros, and to hell with the YouTubers who did paid reviews. Who were those YouTubers anyway?

I appreciate your emotion, but would you mind not wishing I and a bunch of other good people lose their jobs?

I think it was more the Lets Play types than straight up reviewers, basically getting the game positive buzz. Since nothing at the time required it, they didn't all mention the deal. Others (like PewDiePie) did.

Holy shit, dem steel boxes. If they're makin' one for Wii U, I'll pay 20 bucks to have a physical copy of Axiom Verge I can physically drool over.
