What single player FPS campaign are you playing?
Re: What single player FPS campaign are you playing?
Use the see through walls ability if you can't stealth. It makes the game [boring] easy.

Surprised you don't like the world of Dishonored, it seems like Thief through the lens of Half-Life 2. I ended up falling hard for it when I finally played it last year (or maybe it was earlier this year.) cannot wait for the sequel.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Ditto, like I drooled all over the last handful of pages the atmosphere/world of Dishonored is amazing stuff to me.

This is a setting with magic whales who can be drained of their blubber oil to power fantastical devices. How can you not like everything about that previous sentence?

Having seen how noise plays stealth games, I understand his issue. He gets the shakes. Playing Payday 2 with him has been interesting...though he tends to get us killed far less often than Fastbilly's "throw caution to the wind" approach.

yeah I mean it is what it is, I guess. Even when I use the "see through walls" that just tells me where other guys are. It doesn't make me play any better.

It may be a stealth game, but you can teleport...I mean, really.

haha, yeah. I'm not really sure that I have a particular issue w/ this game ultimately. I feel like I should like it. But something just isn't clicking. (I'm also starting to sound like a broken record... see Mass Effect 2, The Witcher 3...)isiolia wrote:It may be a stealth game, but you can teleport...I mean, really.

Just wanna say Brothers in Arms Hells Highway is a remarkable game. I recently re-acquired it and played the first mission (beaten the game before) and absolutely love how original this game is. The only gripe I have is the hit detection is worse than what remembered but I think all other aspects are great. Story, game mechanics, quirky controls vs today's FPS standard, there are many tactics when approaching missions, setting is fantastic and finding the kilroy's (which will be my main focus on the second play). Game is pretty cheap and is a must play for those who love good ol fashion war, Gearbox and Ubisoft were great then check it out. Oh yea the kilroy's really really make me feel nostalgic, my mom used to draw these for me when I was younger but hers were slightly different, she never told me where she got it from but when I played this I put 2n2 together... My uncles were in war!! Kilroy was kinda like graffiti then when you wanted to let other soldiers know where you've been you would draw him. Wow mind blown.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

The regular Thursday night gaming group hopped back into Killing Floor 2 last night after a hiatus of nearly six months. They've been revamping things, and a lot has changed. My beloved Firebug is now extremely different, so I'm having to relearn a lot of the tricks of the trade.
I also tried out the SWAT perk, which seems pretty cool. It's like the Commando perk if it were built the way I like to play it. As of now I have all but the Sharpshooter perk at at least level 5, and the Firebug is way up at 24. I figure I'll max it out and try to best a short HoE level so I can set it aside and focus on whatever my next perk will be...which may well end up being SWAT.
