Well yeah I kept it, I erased the one I already had as it was crap compared. Lower stats, lower health, and I think at best it had 1 15 if that (can't remember if it had WoW going on or not.) This one has the wow factor and amazing thrown in. You saw the post clearly.

You can also see my choices for upgrades on what I currently have worth bothering. I'm going to finish the snorlax at least for 1 candy just to pop it up a bit. I don't think I'll ever evolve that pikachu, call me old fashioned but I don't like Raichu. :) Maybe I'll find one one day or I'll get a junk pikachu and just do it for the evolution. I was into Pokemon nearly from the day it came to the country and aired on TV before the game was a thing or any of the merchandising thanks to boring breakfast TV before colllege 20 years ago. I was fed up with news and found it the day it aired on sheer accident and fell in love with the cartoon. The fact the creators here Nintendo hired seem to have some hard on for that first season of the show with the Eeves and now the shoulder Pikachu pleases me. I may just go after that too as racking up 10km of walk time isn't too bad to get a shoulder buddy (though I wonder if you un-buddy him if you lose that.)

I'd like to beef up any of those I currently listed in that earlier post, obviously if I came across a nicer CP version before hand I'd exploit that so we'll see. I found another vileplume today, dumb thing was in the 800s vs the big one I have had so it turned into candy. Same can be said for my first wild ponyta too which was a 1/3 less powerful.

Yesterday I think I saw the shadow of machop in the mall, could not track it down which sucked.

I have to admit, this game is having some effect on me. I'm enjoying Pokemon again. It has compelled me NOT to sell off that Pokemon Crystal cart I restored to battery life, and I'm contemplating playing either Yellow (which I also refreshed) since it parallels GO or Crystal to see the differences. I know where to score a Crystal guide for $15 which seems about 10-20 off the ebay rate (odd given the guy knows what stuff is worth.)

I worked out that to get a Venusaur from buddy candies I'd have to walk from here to the Netherlands, near the border of Germany.

To get a Dragonite, I'd have to walk from London England, to basically the border of Switzerland.

Lots of walking to be done....

This game is true to the series in some parts, you can't deny that. I've seen pictures of the shoulder buddies so they nailed that for sure. I have to see if the network issues they claimed to fix are in fact.

Wife has been complaining about the game sticking or shaking, something like that on her since the update. Also the two of us are not consistently side by side getting the same pop ups on screen at times, or it shows up later so it's missed (in a moving car.) We're not on the same network as far as the phone goes.

She's been getting meowth somewhere, I never find them, got herself a Persian evolution going an hour ago, came out just over 900cp so it's not that special.

I have to go out after work for awhile, also pick the kid up and take her to the park across the street so I don't know, maybe I'll find some goodies. That street still is some seel bait strip there as they keep popping up and nowhere else around here. Maybe I can get a dewgong, she did. :\

OH yeah that thing about the long walks to get anywhere. I'm wondering how that's going to turn out with Gyrados. That thing is a beast, yet magikarp is a pile of crap so it's in the 1km per candy bin. I can see those popping up a lot more sooner or later. I wonder if they'd nerf them a bit but then again Wigglytuff is in there too and those are pretty strong.

If you live near a major water source, Gyarados are already everywhere.

Dragonite, Snorlax, Gyarados, Vaporeon are the most common things I see on gyms here.

I'm at 256/400 Magikarp candies so far, which is why I'm using my buddy slot to get candies for rarer stuff - I'm more interested in 'catching them all' then I am worried about gym battles.

Dewgong!!!! Believe it or not, my Seel has a few good battle uses. It took down a Gyarados one time with Ice Shard/Icy Wind!

I was able to check out a few gyms today I don't get to see often; they were Valor but good luck trying to train at them with Exeggutors and others that were 1900 and up.

The top tiers I see at gyms are the usual suspects - Gyarados, Dragonite, Exeggutor, Snorlax, Vaporeon. The flagpole gym is Instinct now, it has Nidoqueen at the top.

Meowths are kind of common here. I saw another one today that I passed up on. But I got another Eevee and Exeggcute with good appraisals.

I'm down to 1 gym now, the marina with Flareon, still their as of 5:00PM on Saturday. I tell you, Valor's got that road locked up, all 5 gyms belong to us. Fortunately I was able to get 20 coins today, about 30 minutes after that I lost that gym.

I evolved a Jigglypuff and the resulting Wigglytuff is not nearly as powerful in CP as I had hoped it would be. Those suckers aren't super-common around here. I'm partnered with my Pikachu, now, and I'm hoping I'll find a rare catch that's high enough level that I'm willing to risk evolving it.

Well both your top gym squatters are here too. We just have the Ohio River and when I've gone on the road and space down by it as I need to once a month for work, I see no more water pokemon than I do elsewhere. This just isn't a water area so magikarp are rare which is a joke considering they're the joke of the old game (it will 'splash' you into submission!) Here we're stuck with the majority of the stuff benig the shittiest 1km type stuff weedle, caterpie, pidgey, venonat, and ratatta with the only solid one being eevee. Then you have the somewhat often but like 1 for every 25 of the others maybe ratio going into the bellsprout, jigglypuff, eggecute, staryu, tauros, either nidoran, spearow, ekans, horsea, zubat along with poliwag and goldeen.

After that it's sketchy. Once in a 100+ type stuff for a koffing, pinsir, scyther, the 3 starters(with charmander almost never appearing), abra, gastly, ponyta, mankey, clefairy, rhyhorn, seel(other than that one street I noted where they're common with no water anywhere near by), and meowth.

Now more like the seen let alone captured maybe 1 in 500-1000+ stuff falls to pikachu, magnemite, sandshrew, kadabra, beedrill, growlithe, and butterfree. Anything else I have was a one off like Cubone, Marowak, and Snorlax, or I got in an egg like magmar, clefairy(which I saw once on like day 2 of the game) and dratini.

My wife somehow has caught a few magikarp, it shadows me as a curse. As I said before I've caught (which includes eggs and evolution) 89 and seen 90. Just plain stuck. This is what pops up in Louisville KY and surrounding areas, and up in Madison IN up/across the river like 30min from here or so is a nice % increase in clefairy but the same otherwise. I've not found something new in awhile, kind of depressing.

New update borked my autowalker, they did something to how it reads GPS data. In the past my setup worked well for cracking eggs, but now it gets nothing. It was an old direct drive recordplayer (broken beyond use), with a 4ft piece of PVC pipe attached to the plate with a caster with the phone sitting on top on the other end. It would go around in a big circle in my garage and hatch eggs. I plan on building a bigger one that will allow me to get free walking. But it will be a couple weeks before I can get a motor strong enough.

Kadabra did get three candies recently thanks to this. Only 90km more to go for an Alakazam.

Wow not bad. I hadn't thought of using a record player. I'd sit in this chair here and spin it about if I was like .1km away from something and that worked. I guess they widened the distance needed before it would pick up, or it's lagging/losing data. I wouldn't put it passed the last guess there as I've seen it be sketchy on eggs.
