I'm gonna buy the MSX ports of the first two Dragon Quest games. They aren't as expensive as I thought they'd be.

If Dragon Quest Builders was getting a USA physical Vita release, I'd buy it for that platform immediately. But it looks like it's only getting a digital release for USA Vita. And that is a bunch of stinky corn hole poop.

I've beaten FF 1-10 in some form/version.

I have yet to beat a single DQ.

Play anything 4-8. Those actually have the good gameplay and good stories as well, where DQ1&2 for GBC just makes the unforgiving grinding of DQ1 and DQ2 more palatable, but no less boring :/

I haven't decided if I'm going to get it tbh. I've never been huge into the DQ series (just haven't had the chance to play many of them), so I don't jump on it like some folks here do. I may end up picking it up, but I'm still undecided as of now.

Play Dragon Quest VIII on PS2. Stick with it till it clicks. If you don't enjoy it, you won't enjoy the rest of the series. If you do enjoy it, you'll probably at least decide it's as good as any FF.
