Good point. I live in an area that is relatively lacking in humidity, and I don't keep the bags air-tight, but I guess that's liable to be what happened. There are some replacements on Ebay from China, anyway. They're pretty cheap, so I guess I'll give it a shot on one of them.

Okay, so that 360 controller decided to start working again. I have no clue.

So I'm playing Valkyria Chronicles II, right? And there's this mission where you have to beat a rival class in the final of a military academy championship. The way you win is to kill their leader. Simple enough, right? So I corner this bitch with my tank. I've got the strongest cannon I can develop for the tank at this point in the game. I shoot her DIRECTLY in the face. With a fucking tank. And she doesn't die. I get that there are bosses, but seriously, no human being should survive being shot directly in the face with a tank.

So I'm probably 2/3 of the way through Shadow Complex and I have to say...

The combat is utterly terrible. And I'm trying to wrap my head around people going gaga over this game. It's not a bad game; the exploration is good. But the combat sucks so hard.

I thought it was pretty bad any time you were aiming at enemies in the background. 2D aiming I found to be fine. Not notably good, but fine.

I don't get it either. I was considering buying it when I first got my 360, but after watching some videos of its gameplay, I thought it looked shoddy. So I passed.
