I picked up a few games at the pawn shop yesterday. Yard saling wasn't great for gaming (I only got Mario Kart 7 for my girlfriend for $2), but I got a Mario bedsheet/comforter set and a plush Chef Kirby for $15, and the Ghostbusters and Back to the Future vinyl soundtracks for $0.50 each. All in all, great yard saling day, and a great way to close July, with 78 games this month, and 190 in total so far this year.

All of these besides the last 2 were bought a retro game market here in london which is on 3 times a year. The prices are nothing special, but they're not bad either, I was happy with what I got.

WB in Monster Land and Koudelka were bought from a 2nd hand electronics shop near my work. Again, not amazing deals, but not bad either.

I'll totally throw money at them for a Dreamcast port of Super Noah's Ark 3D, but not until that stretch goal gets reached (so there's an approximately 99.99999999999999999% chance they'll never see a penny from me).

Dude those are not bad backer brackets and very affordable, I'm almost impulsed to throw money down on the genny cart.

Starting the month off right! I also realized that I forgot to add a game that TSTR gave me when we hung out a week or so back, so that's been belatedly added in to my July list.

Finally acquired a game I loved from my childhood: Kid Chameleon CIB for $12. Not the best copy ever (art is a little faded, somewhat ragged manual) but I'll take a CIB in any condition as long as it's all there and I can save a few bucks.

Also bought the manual for Quackshot for $5 because I'm a completionist douche. I'm happy I have it but spending money on manuals only is getting into wasteful territory when I already have the box and game. The same guy had a Streets of Rage manual for $10.99 and I'd already talked him down for the Quackshot one, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend $10+ on two manuals, even though I hate not having them and SoR is one of the ones I really do need to get.

I remember playing this one as a kid and couldn't ever beat it. Little did I know there was 99 levels or whatever there is lol...

While there are better games on the playform, definitely one that defines the Genesis to me.
