I'm digging this aquavania too! What I like the most is there is no budget or indie feel at all to this game, it's from ratchet and clank peeps and its solid. The world is pretty mesmerizing being as deadly as it is tranquil.

Also nice build upon the metroid engine using unique puzzle segments while beefing up that tiny submarine, little Sub Terrania for good measure.

I'm actually getting a little bit of Solar Jetman meets The Little Mermaid vibe, in some ways. It's definitely all tied into the Metroidvania structure, and it seems really solid so far.

JULY 2016!

Okay all, in the process of selling a few games and want to pick up some PS2 titles, decided to refresh my tracking so it is up to date. Still in the mindset for 2016: play what you have, move to flash carts where possible, downsize. Also as a side note, looking into soft-modding my Wii. Might be posting soon for EOM July or will be back with some early August pickups/sales.

Even though I had a shift that started at 10:30 yesterday morning, I was still able to do a bit of rainy day yard saling. I didn't leave empty-handed, thankfully:
Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80's (PS2) - $0.25

Let's Ride: Sunshine Stables (CIB) (GBA) - $1.00

I also stopped into the local pawn shop just before work and picked up:
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (PS3) - $3.50
Doom 3: BFG Edition (PS3) - $3.50

One of the yard sales, which was about 10 minutes out of town (and I was already pressed for time) advertised clothing, appliances, and most importantly, games! Upon arriving, all that was there was a beat up and dirty Wii Balance Board with Wii Fit for $25, and Kinect Adventures, Just Dance 2, and Just Dance 3 for $1 each, and that was everything in the way of games other than a Scrabble board game. Needless to say, I was dejected, but there was a consolation prize there: A Game Boy iPhone case for $0.25! Woohoo, I guess, I don't have any Apple products, but... woohoo?

Bestbuy had some pretty good sales going on so I reacquired Sunset Overdrive and Infamous Second Son along side Metal Gear Solid V for just under $40.

Also swung into the gamestop up at the mall after watching Star Trek Beyond and found a few things. They currently have a 4 for $40 deal which is actually 4 for $36 + Tax

which has some solid titles. Picked up Dragon age Inquisition Deluxe Edition, Toy Soldiers War Chest Hall of Fame Edition, Hatsune Miku Project Diva F2, and Bound By Flame with that deal then picked up Dungeon Siege III, Prince of Persia Rival Swords, and Sled Shred(couldn't pass up a game with that features the "Jamaican Bob Sled Team"

) since they were cheap.
