Can anyone share thoughts?

It's on my Netflix queue. If you would like, I could watch it tonight and report back. (Otherwise, I will probably just watch an episode or two of Mad Men.)Ack wrote:Speaking of ghost movies, has anybody seen this yet:

That's my Wednesday night routine. (I will lobby for We Are Still Here tonight and report back.)Ack wrote:Smoke a cigar and slap your wife's ass.
Watching it right now. Great atmosphere and sound editing. Very creepy haunted house film. Fairly predictable so far, however. (People warning the protagonists about the house are a little much...)Ack wrote:Speaking of ghost movies, has anybody seen this yet:

I do. The first sixty minutes of the film are extremely predictable (if you have ever seen a slow burn haunted house movie). The film goes delightfully off the rails in the last 20 minutes, however, and the level of gore at the end was just over the top. My wife was kind of "meh" on it, but I thought it was pretty great.Ack wrote:Hahaha, it is very interesting watching this evolution of opinion. You support watching it?
I read this and thought, "How have I not heard of this." Then I saw it was labeled a "romantic horror" movie and figured that was why. That said, I think I may look into this.samsonlonghair wrote:Yo Ack, my favorite Werewolf movie is Wolf because I love any movie starring Jack Nicholson. Michelle Pfeiffer was one of the most gorgeous women on earth in 1994 (and heck she probably still is today). James Spader is always fun and Weird. Wolf is directed by Mike Nichols who directed the understated comedy The Graduate.
