About time MS actually supported some of the better games:

I finally tried out the demo of this on Steam. What exactly makes this game so great? Seems like another generic platformer. I didn't find the opening video entertaining. It was just 10 minutes of annoyance.

Also, I love Grim Fandango and I heard it's by the same group, but I'm not feelin' it.

I've yet to really sit down and play the game but I've bought it recently. I'm just kinda waiting for the right time or mood to do so.

I don't know if it's so much a gameplay thing as the humor and personality of it and such.

I was afraid of that. It's just not for me then. It's a mile short of genuine Pixar humor.

I'm just kinda pissed off that it was never released on the cube. I mean, it pretty much bombed for how much it was acclaimed on the xbox and ps2, so it seemed perfect for the cube. And it's not like the cube couldn't handle it graphically. i mean, it was on the PS2 for god's sake.

I loved this game. Tim Schafer just seemingly can't go wrong. This, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle... The man is my personal gaming God.

tbh, it didn't seem all that great when I played it at the store. Just seemed like an average platformer with uninspired comedy that ranges from funny to just kinda stupid. Plus, the controls sucked pretty bad on the PS2. That and the fact they didn't make it for gamecube seemed quite the foolish move considering it prolly would've been the most succesful on it.
