I didn't care for him in that role, I more liked some of the movies despite him and because of Sam Raimi. 3 is unforgiveable though.

that's maybe a better way of putting it. I haven't seen 3 yet, though. I liked the first 2 back in the day but I haven't seen them in years. I'm gonna re-watch those before subjecting myself to 3, which I've heard nothing but bad things about despite the inclusion of Venom.
