What was the last movie you've seen?

You quit SHIELD right before it started getting good. The post-Winter Soldier episodes are when things really pick up, and from there the show has found its legs and has been extremely enjoyable to watch.
I have to disagree with you on SHIELD. I feel like the show only briefly had a solid sense of its own footing around the middle of the first season. It's otherwise been all over the place and seems to connect to the MCU only vaguely. Most of the acting is weak and the writing is on par with the acting. I can't figure out why the show made it on TV as long as it has. The ratings have been poop as well.

I'm just bummed there's no more Agent Carter, that show was solid.

I figure I'll probably watch the first episode of Jessica Jones, Agents Of SHIELD, Daredevil and they decide which one grabs me most first.

Are any of those animated Marvel movies on Netflix? I've seen the artwork for a few of them and they look really neat.

To echo what some others have said, SHIELD is going to require a little more investment to fully enjoy it. I've watched it since the beginning, but even a MCU freak like myself can admit that it doesn't hit it its stride until after the Winter Soldier stuff.

Doesn't look like they're up for streaming anywhere, other than Netflix having the cel-shaded CGI Iron Man/Hulk Heroes United thing that seems to be rated terribly.

I loved Daredevil, but thought Jessica Jones was junk. Just not my kind of show.

Definitely thought Civil War was awesome. Pretty sure practically everyone nailed their parts. The new Spider-Man looks awesome, and does the best job of capturing the original Petey. I thought Black Panther was solid as well.

I'd love to go see Civil War now, as I find the concept of the book really awesome. But I feel like I need to at least see Captain America and Avengers first.

Does the new movie basically follow the full Marvel Civil War book, or is it just one of the seven issues?

Neither. There's a similar underlying premise, but the movie doesn't follow the Comic Book hardly at all.

Still a good movie. I reviewed it on the previous page.

No. While the movie keeps the general idea of an act of government being used to control superheroes and it ultimately leading to a divide of philosophies between Iron Man and Captain America while the Hulk is simply not around, the way things are handled are very different from the comics. In Cap III, it's a United Nations maneuver to specifically restrict the Avengers. When things go south, superheroes do get called in to act out based on their different approaches and philosophies, but it's very different and on a much smaller scale from a lot of what's going on in the Civil War comic line.

At a minimum before you see Civil War you need to see Avengers, Winter Soldier, and Avengers 2.
