Jessica Jones is quite good. The Netflix series in general are a fairly big shift in tone away from the MCU, and so far have largely been their own thing. They're darker and more character focused. You could pretty well watch them anytime, since while the events of the films are referenced, it's more in the sense of creating the environment - general public aware of superpowers, parts of major cities destroyed, etc.noiseredux wrote: As far as the TV shows go, I'm interested, but not super interested. IE: I don't spend a lot of time watching TV shows. I feel like I'd be more prone to watch them *after* I have seen more of the movies. Is Jessica Jones that good? I've heard very little about it.
The flip side is Agents of SHIELD, which plays directly off of events in some of the movies. I wouldn't start watching that (if you're even interested) before working up to the Avengers, and then watching Winter Soldier at the appropriate point in the series, etc.
