Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I find Middle Ages Christian mythology fascinating, and since that's the foundation of Darksider's plot, I absolutely loved both games (especially since I got to play the second on my Wii U). The combat does get stale after a while, but I found the game so overall enjoyable that it didn't really bother me.

That title feels like it could be a clickbait headline.noiseredux wrote:Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code has been localized and is on Steam now. Has anyone played it?

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Never heard of that game. I assume it was originally released somewhere else.
Oh, another thought - whenever I buy a boxed system I take it out of the box and play it for some time (naturally). But then when I want to put it back in the box to toss on the shelves or whatever IT NEVER FITS BACK IN. The Odyssey is the latest example. No idea how the controllers fit in there in the first place. They're huge and the wires are super-stiff.

I saw that in GS, was awfully tempted to snag it. How are the reviews for it?Exhuminator wrote:Why haven't you guys bought Return to PoPoLoCrois yet?
As regarding Darksiders, it's a really blasphemous take on Judeo-Christian imagery... yet it's so filtered through the comic book aesthetic that I can't take it seriously. As a rather devout Christian, you can imagine I have quite a bit of fun with some of the crazy plot stuff. That also reminds me that I've got El Shaddai, another really weird Judeo-Christian-influenced game.
Me, I've always wanted to do a game with some Christian fiction that, you know, doesn't suck. Too many of the games put the evangelism above the actual gameplay, which kinda doesn't help the evangelism in the first place.
