Got a copy of Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines and Ray Gigant in the mail today
Oreshika doesn't have a physical NA release, and looks like Ray Gigant will be digital only too so I got Japanese copies. Unfortunately, I'm just a sucker for physical copies especially with the Vita since they're in such cute blue cases
Might be a little while before I can play them properly though ha...

Good news: Atelier Sophie will come to Vita in USA.
Bad news: Digital only.

Ah yeah kind of figured. At least it's not too devastating to me since the Atelier games all have physical editions elsewhere, even if they aren't the Plus editions.Exhuminator wrote:Good news: Atelier Sophie will come to Vita in USA.

I'll probably end up importing some of them though... Just it's probably going to wait until after I play a non-Plus version or if I see them when I go to Japan.

Indeed, the atmosphere just oozes out of all the art I've seen for the game:BoneSnapDeez wrote:Stranger of Sword City looks badass. Love the art style.

My Vita copy is supposed to be arriving today from Amazon. I won't be playing it immediately, but I will play it someday. It's a welcome addition to the growing stable of dungeon crawlers in my Vita library. (Stranger of Sword City is also available on Xbox One in USA.)
A few reviews:

The only negative reviews I've seen complain that the game is too hard. That's the point though. That's like saying The Dark Spire sucks because it's too hard. Fucking babby reviewers.

I got a PlayStation TV recently so that I can stream Vita games. Pretty nice. That thing must have flopped hard considering it was around $40 new.

When like only half the Vita games are compatible with it, yeah, might gonna flop. I've read that Stranger in Sword City is compatible though!ZenErik wrote:I got a PlayStation TV recently so that I can stream Vita games. Pretty nice.
