Still I'd love to play that one...though from what I've seen of it so far, it's not worth more than maybe $35 for me and it definitely doesn't retail for that now. Geez...I'd attempt to find the SFC version and play it on my R5 but I'm not sure the price on even that one would be favorable...trying not to buy any games that blow my budget quickly for games...BoneSnapDeez wrote:I can't imagine an old Almanic / Enix game ever getting a VC release, unfortunately. Agreed that E.V.O. has some janky ass combat. Nothing I find game-breaking though. Worth noting that the original 46 Okunen Monogatari is turn-based.

Holy crap! I just looked on ebay and had no idea how much people are asking/paying for EVO these days.
Everyone should just get an everdrive and be done with it.
This will probably be the next game to see a wave of counterfeits.

Hence why sellers are now showing the guts of these games in photos. Sigh.

I don't either. If I dump a game around the $100+ mark I'll open it up and snap the board so people know it's legit as I'd expect to probably get a little less possibly not doing so.
I agree though, the day has come where even the SD2SNES is now considered 'cheap' in comparison. Buy Mega Man X3, or buy that...hmm tough call. Not. Shame they still haven't figured out adding FX1/2 chip to that.

Which is really the right thing to do these days. Too bad there isn't a website similar to NESCartDB that shows the PCB of every NES cartridge for the SNES (and the GBA for that matter)BoneSnapDeez wrote:Hence why sellers are now showing the guts of these games in photos. Sigh.

Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
I've long thought about selling my Mega Man X2 and X3 carts and using the money to get an Sd2snes. IDK, as much as I consider myself to be a gamer, I guess some part of me is a collector as well.
Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
Hate to admit the temptation hits me too. I haven't sold or traded in games in over a decade... but when they start hitting those triple digits it gets a little tempting haha.Ziggy587 wrote:I've long thought about selling my Mega Man X2 and X3 carts and using the money to get an Sd2snes. I just had someone direct me to SNES Central, they have most of this stuff documented. e.g. Chrono TriggerExedExes wrote:Which is really the right thing to do these days.
