I agree (about both points.) There were times when they used the blush quite effectively and actually got a laugh out of me, but I think the game would have benefited if they'd dialed the pink cheeks back a notch or two.

Works that are 100% fanservice don't bother me. With stuff like Bayonetta for instance you know what you're getting into. What bothers me is when a work spends time building up a non-sexualized badass female character only to pop her boobs out for no other reason than she has boobs that can be popped out.
Yeah, I think I could probably agree with this.

I can certainly appreciate the female form (I am a dude, after all), but I'm also a rather religious guy, so there are certain lines I don't feel that are appropriate to cross. For me personally, of course. I have no say in what others consume, and do not desire such power.

Please teach America your skill of not shoving your religion down other peoples' throats. It's truly a talent as magnificent as it is rare.
Elkin I second that, it's the biggest problem with the right in this country these days, just as slandering people as something-ists is with the left shutting down discussion that way. Both equally stupid, childish and petty and solves nothing.
I really don't like fanservice. In games like Senran Kagura and the like, it just makes me really uncomfortable, but maybe that's just because I'm too Ace for blatant displays of body like that.
I do like when games make fun of fan service though, like the talk of buttering poopers in Corpse Party absolutely had me in stitches X3

Why would you even play something like Senran Kagura then? That's about as point blank as it gets, you're getting into exactly what you see.
