I was hoping that there would be a console port... :) (There is, but it was not released in NA, and it looks like it loses a lot of the charm.) Maybe they will port it to iOS at some point? (Kidding aside, I would really like to play through UU at some point. It has a fantastic reputation.)

Forgot about the PlayStation port! (Which reminds me, Savage Empire is on Super Famicom!). None of these odd console ports are likely to ever have fan translations, as any English speaker can just play them on PC.

But yeah, I highly recommend UU. And Ultima IV.

I'll get back into RPGs at some point, but I think I am going to go on an adventure, platformer, and shmup binge until the end of the month. (For some reason, I am really itching to play through 6180 The Moon and Ray Force, despite having a couple of hours sunk into Grim Fandango.) My children are also frothing at the mouth for Pokken Tournament; so, I expect I will be spending some time with that game later this month too. (I also kind of want to beat another, random Atari 7800 game...Karateka, maybe?)

I'm going to be hitting up Dark Chambers on the 7800 (or 2600 or 8-bit computer) when I have a chance. I need to purchase a copy first. It's a "sequel" to Dandy, the action-RPG I just completed.

So, I fired up Jade Cocoon and ummffhrifieffhrhe TANK CONTROLS.
