Federation Force looks like it'd be pretty fun.

No announcement for Detective Pikachu as of yet.

I wanted nothing to do with that Metroid when all we knew before was some lame mechanics and that blast ball game that looked dumb. I think with how much that guy is into it and how he really was feeling it while explaining as much as allowed with those long clips they've done something special. While yes you probably would want, you don't need Samus to do a Metroid story as the universe has grown largely over the years, especially in the last 15 years. There's a huge untold story we see shattered bits of around the federation military and the space pirates from the wreckage and bodies in other titles. This will give a nice play on things to see how it goes.

Other than that WiiU stuff, don't have one, but if the NX were to run those things, and I ended up with one down the line, a few things look fun between Mario Maker and Paper Mario, maybe that Lost Reavers title too if it's not all flash and flair.

The SNES stuff I'd like to tap into, but I think $8 is a bit much for F-Zero and Pilotwings, about the only 2 I'd throw on my 3DS because they're so easily short and pick up n play.

3DS -- Hyrule Warriors Legends I think I'd enjoy, more so on a handheld so I had not wanted it on WiiU when I had it but it looks fun and not like the mess Zelda itself has turned into. Bravely Default I'd buy, bad feeling I'd never finish it because like the first it will have some stupid mechanics around forcing some abilities in fights or cheap moments because that's what Square has degraded boss fights to since the PS2 era -- glorified simon says matches eventually at some point in a game. Dragon Quest 7, that I'd enjoy, probably never finish since they're overly long for their own good but enjoyable.

Other than that, nothing. 2 years ago I'd have cared about Kirby, but the one on 3DS I had for a long while and it took me over a year to clear like a 1/3 of it as it bored me and I doubt adding mech mechanics would help anything. For me somehow Kirby got boring, yet I can deal with the 90s stuff fine.

The problem I always had with Federation Force was I'd rather have a mainline Metroid game. I was always sure that the game itself would be fine.

Ehh good point. The 3DS really could use one, even if it was kind of like that cheesy DS Prime Hunters game which wasn't all that good in first player. At least it worked and was interesting, even if it was a front for online play, at least it had some meat and distance to it unlike some other developers FPS endeavors.

I agree, but I'm a HUGE Metroid fan, so I've got it pre-ordered to give it a shot.

I was kinda hoping for a pokemon sun and moon update to give more details instead of having us speculate about it. Definitely qutie a bit of that stuff they mentioned that i'm interested in but I'm kinda wanting to see that pocket card jockey game. That's the first game in awhile by gamefreak without pokemon on it, and it looks interesting. I love these genre and gameplay mashups that definitely don't usually go together but in the way they're doing it, it looks like fun ha ha. But I've got enough to keep me busy for awhile though >_>

That's what you get though, it's March. We're within the 90 day window of E3 where they button up and say little other than dangling existing information and some trolling imagery to tease what to expect later without showing squat. Now they'll have people talking up these games speculating everything, trying to be sly and find info online for leaks or whatever of even one solitary suspected new pokemon.

It wasn't what we wanted, but I'd argue MP: Hunters was actually pretty good. I enjoyed it, anyway.

So much of the backlash now is because it has been quite some time since we got a true Metroid game. Hunters, on the other hand, came in between Zero Mission / Echoes and Corruption, so the series had not lain fallow that long at all. We knew more was coming. Not so now, with Other M seemingly destroying the series (not for lack of quality, but for collective Internet whining).
