I noticed that some people have problems keeping a good ratio on UG
and I wish to contribute this tip.

if you click on all these links(5 min process)
you get 33mb upload in your account(on lucky days I got 14mb)
if you make the calculations, that gives you like 1 game a month or so
which I think is very reasonable. I guess by time, the more you download
more people take uploads from you so its like a snowball thing.
plus, you are helping other people doing it.

I am now at 740mb upload , The best I got before using this option was a total of
148 mb.

Yeah that will help when you have very little. The main thing to do is just be patient and wait for glden torrent weekends before going crazy on anything.

thanks....i think. The read me/help section of UG tells you about that...i learned after having someones foot in my ass. Also its not hard to have a good ratio...

goto golden torrent and download a bunch of random files, not complete, just random as all hell...then....seed. Just make sure you pick those random files from games you KNOW people are going to download. IE....dreamcast..marvel vs capcom 1 and 2...you KNOW people will download those...so take some files from them.

Are golden torrents there freeleech? I have been steadily seeding the couple of small torrents that I have grabbed from there, but it's going very slowly.

You have to consider how many people have those files they are seeding. On a goldtorrent weekend...you can download golden stuff free...so download as much as possible as quick as possible, then seed 24/7. Golden torrents are the ones that have gold color highlights. Look for the leecher/active area and see if its worth seeding. Their guidlines will help alot, just give it a quick read.

There is your problem. If you have very little then you have very little to give back. Get the famous/rare games. They are always being downloaded. Don't bother with the complete snes/md/gb sets. Not many people download them a lot.

However stuff like Shenmue 2, MvC, Ikaruga, Headhunter from the complete DC torrent. Those games are always in high demand.

If you use the article section on this website you'll get a good idea of what games are rare/valuable. These are the games that are in high demand. Download these and watch your torrents seed 24/7 at full whack.

Also, the best tip for people having trouble seeding, make sure you are connectable. If not then check the guide on becoming connectable in the UG wiki.

I just wanted to bring that to your attention cause although I have been through the rules and the FAQ I skipped over this little tip.
I think underground gamer should open the community more, because sooner or later
everyone will have the same files, and they cant upload to any one because everyone has them.

it is open....by invite. I believe i have 10 invites right now and im 1 person out of god only knows how many on that site lol.
