Valkyrie Profile 2
I'm about 9 hours in now. I just beat the boss of Audoula Temple On The Lake, and reached the desert town of Kalstad. I'm going to go back and finish up the optional areas Ancient Forest and Turgen Mine before proceeding forward. Trying to not be under leveled. This game is actually fairly challenging and I can appreciate it's more than just eye candy. Such a great JRPG so far.
Panzer Dragoon Saga
About 4 hours in, at the Forbidden Zone towards the end of disc 1. So far I've really enjoyed this strange little JRPG. Not much to tell you guys you don't already know, considering everyone's already beaten this other than me. I'd be further in by now but I've just been playing this during my lunch hour.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall
Glory's side mission is done, and I did the first run to jack into the Knight Errant's comm system to find out if they're deploying their High Threat Response Team. Now I'm sitting outside Aztechnology's primary facility in Berlin, figuring out my best options for getting into their headquarters without alerting anyone to my presence. It's looking like the sewers are my best bet. Joy. But I've got a lot of cyberware boosting my stats, some of the best gear available at the time, and a team consisting of Eiger, Deitrich, and Blitz to cover my combat, support, and decking needs. So begins the beginning of the end.
Also, Glory...before I did her mission, I hardly used Glory. Now that I've done her duo side mission, I have no desire to ever consider using her again. Out of five combats we encountered, she hit enemies...twice? Come to think of it, I think she only managed to hit the boss at the end. She couldn't hit the broadside of a barn if it were a sphere enveloping her! Her medic capabilities were useful, but I'd rather have had better accuracy to drop my enemies before they successfully managed to hit me instead. Interesting character, but I don't expect I'll be putting her on my team again.

YS Ark of Naphistim - Made it to Port Rimorge. Taking a break to play more Xillia
Tales of Xillia - Haven't looked at how many hours in, but I just defeated the boss at Bermia Gorge. One thing I'll say is that this game has possibly the best battle system out of any action rpg I've played. I love how much you can strategize before every boss. I'm playing on the second highest difficulty setting, but I'm still getting a very very good challenge out of every boss I face which is great. This game is fun as hell and I love how important the link arts become in the boss fights. There is also TONS of loot.

Re: RPG Progress Report
I'm in the middle of yet another FF Tactics replay. I love this game to death - more than most of the main series, and it's one of my favorite series. The joy of unlocking jobs and skills and mixing/matching your team is unrivaled. I love the absurdly purple localization in the PSP port. And the story is so strong in the first few hours... too bad it falls apart soon after.
Still, aside from maybe FFXI, it's the best implentation of the FF Job system in my opinion.

I review (mostly old) games at: The Annals of Retrodom.

Re: RPG Progress Report
Deep Dungeon II seems much better than its predecessor so far. The game is moving along at a much more agreeable pace. The encounter rate is insane (I've had encounters triggered the very second I stopped reading the "results" display from the previous battle) but there's a catch - once you hit certain level the enemies on a given floor disappear.
I'm at level five (experience-wise) out of twenty. Just got a map item which is proving to be a tremendous help.

Re: RPG Progress Report
Atelier Totori: Just got to the third year (our of five total I think?). Not really enjoying this as much as Rorona Plus or Ayesha since the story is non-existent and it's very unclear what to do 90% of the time, but the characters and alchemy is interesting me enough to keep going.
Dungeon Travelers 2: Just beat the midboss in the Wrappl Temple (at least, I think that's what it's called
). Took me a long while to get to her though since this dungeon is incredibly confusing. So many holes and one way doors and invisible walls and ahhhhh
