Logitech G430 is the most comfortable set I've ever used.

No joke, I have a similar headset in my garage. I use to use it as headphones when working on a lathe, but no longer have the lathe, so it sits in a box. But thats a double mono headset, far from surround. And that guy kinda looks like Ack's brother

So I've had a "problem" for a while now where my computer wouldn't display the screen saver. The monitor would shut off at the appropriate time (I had the screen saver set for 15 minutes and monitor off set to 30 minutes). I checked all settings a zillion times to make sure nothing was preventing the screen saver from working, but everything was fine.

I finally upgraded my video card, first time since 2009. And what do you know, my screen saver works again! I suspected that it had something to do with the video card, and with each driver update I was hoping to get my screen saver back but it never happened.

I had another weird problem that would only happen every once in a while. If I restarted or cold booted my computer, after I log on to Windows the screen would dim. It wasn't the monitor, it would dim as if you were on a laptop and unplugged the AC adapter. This was another thing I checked the power settings for a zillion times and everything was right. The only way I could get the screen to undim was to log off and log back onto Windows (restarting would also work, but logging off is quicker). Anyway, I'm hoping this problem also went away with the new video card, but since it would only happen every once in a while, I wont know for sure.

did you make sure that the resolution was set to 1993... when people still used screen savers?

any of y'all remember Computer Shopper? I remember me and my friend used to drool over that back in Junior High. Each issue of the "magazine" was bigger than a phone book.
