If that's the big box version that includes the hard cover artbook get it. I was really surprised at the quality of the art book, and it was fun to read through and look at design sketches and stuff. Also some nice developer commentary in there. The music CD is probably nice too but who the hell listens to CDs anymore? Well not me anyway. I'd rather have gotten a stylized micro USB stick with MP3s honestly. The big box itself is very well designed and looks dang sezy on a shelf.

I was at Best Buy the other day and left feeling really disappointed because they only sell one stereo that has a cassette deck.

And yeah, I like CDs.

Anyone who likes to own their stuff listens or at least buys their CDs still. I buy them, used at half price books or another local chain, but then I MP3 the things and store them on a shelf while throwing the MP3s on my iphone, laptop and backup drive.

Totally not my style but I grabbed a Solid Gold Hits Beastie Boys CD just because it had 4 songs on it I loved in the 90s, Intergalactic, Sabotage, Fight For Your Right, and Brass Monkey. I'm more a 60s-80s classic rock type, got various CDs of some groups I MP3'd.

Well, that's how I found out they still have them; my copy arrived today and it was a big box. No idea how the actual game is because I'm still working on Fire Emblem and probably won't pick up something long for a bit since I know Tomb Raider drops next week.

You can't OWN music, man. It's one of God's creatures.

Looks like I was confusing it with World of Final Fantasy. Similar cover art.

Been playing Pokémon Picross a ton. It is F2P and has some annoying elements, but if you only play 15m to 30m a day it won't annoy you that much. So it is normal picross, but each solved puzzle gets you a Pokémon to add to your party to help with hunts and reveals. Very fun!

So I have been on a standard DS binge recently and my wife took notice. So she decided she wants a 3ds. Turns out Nintendo sells refurb 2ds on ebay for $60:

And she fell in love with it.

So I started looking into the TV out mods, and I discovered something wonderous:

Apparently Loopy, of the Loopy capture card (which is sold out everywhere), figured out how to do a controller mod for the 3ds line. Gamecube, Classic Controller, and SNES are the most common, and yes it emulates the CCP on the second stick.

I am super interested in the mod, but without the tv out, it seems kinda silly on the small screen of my launch 3ds.

But now my wife has a list of 3ds games she wants, so thats something.

Was expecting running man or some K drama from Drama Fever. That was equally as bizzare and definitely more interesting. Hadn't heard of this at all, would love to see more.

It would've been better if all he says is "Pikachu" but everyone somehow understands him.
