Indeed. It's awesome. But I'm no fighting games expert.

PS2 version in Alpha Anthology. It's as close to perfect as you can get outside of CPS2. Plus it can be had for cheap. Very cheap as a matter of fact.

Fair enough. I'm just not too adamant about the smaller sprites (as a result of the resolution change) and the complete lack of true stereo audio which is a major bummer. Not to mentioned almost every home port of the game is based on an revision update that isn't competitively viable.
All in all the DC port feels like a rushed job. It could've been a much better effort on platform if Capcom didn't rush development to make it in time for the systems US launch.

well this is a weird one. My Street Fighter Alpha 3 disc boots the Sega logo and those goes to this weird black screen w/ white rectangles on it:

It does this in both of my consoles. Disc looks flawless though...

Any ideas?

I presume your DC is connected via VGA?

Hmm... strange.
Do you have a means to display in VGA with your DC by any chance?

Your set may have a problem displaying that game in standard composite.

Noise, try forcing SFA3 into 240p by holding Start+L (or Start+Z on the Arcade Stick) when you turn the Dreamcast on, before the Capcom logo appears.
