So, I figured the people in here enjoying Raiden might like to know that Raiden V just got announced for Xbox One. So if you're into the series you've got something to look forward to.

It has to right?

I mean, the Xbox One sells like less than 900 units a month in Japan and this wont be some huge release. What a strange thing to have exclusive.

^ Those are some amazing scores up there!

I need to devote a bit more time to Raiden, but I'm afraid it didn't quite hook me in this month. That's OK though! It's always good to venture outside your wheelhouse and into some unfamiliar territory every so often.

On a secondary note, I need to have a go with the MAME version. The DotEmu port available on GOG has a few features (or more precisely lack thereof) that strike me as being a bit lazy. The MAME version may very well hook me in more effectively than the PC port.

I haven't had a chance to "continue" my way through the rest of Raiden for content tourism purposes™ (not my phrase) but I do plan to.

I also threw in Raiden IV for a bit last month, although I also have the Overkill version for PS3 (PSN) which I'd like to try.

Also realized I dont have Raiden III for PS2 - a glaring gap in my collection.
