Burnout Paradise DLC problems

Post by corn619 »

Anyone else having problems DLing the new legendary car pack and the new online update? It says the car pack has DLed but, doesn't show in my list of cars. I don't DL content ever but, the Back To the Future car was to hard to resist.

System?

If it's the PS3 you might have to go into the "Game" icon from the XMB and manually install it.

I've experienced this with some Little Big Planet Content when I DL through the PSN Store rather than the in-game store, which is also a feature of Burnout.

If it's the 360 then I have no clue because content seems to automatically install from XBL.

Sorry, the system would help. 360 is what I'm having problems with. The car pack says its DLed but doesn't appear in my car list. Also the online update keeps saying that the download stopped every 30 secs. This is why I don't DL shit.

quit to the dashboard and reboot the game. It should take after that. Had the same issue myself with the last update.

For the price of a few 3D car models I could buy an entire game. . .

Not a very good one though. Besides, Back To The Future is one of my favorite movies of all time. To see a look alike hovering through the streets of Paradise City was well worth the price. And they released a shit load of free content that most devs would charge for. So its only fair to charge for somethings I guess. I agree there a little overpriced though. This is the first time I ever paided for extra content. And I bought it because Criterion was awesome for releasing a ton of free stuff for a awesome game and Back To The Future fucking rules.

I hate buying extra content for games, but I could justify the Delorean, definitely.

The Delorean/lambo thing is pretty cool but I doubt it would entertain me any longer than the typical unlockables in games do. It sounds so awesome to unlock Sonic or Snake in smash bros. . . until you do and then the novelty wears off in 5 minutes. The difference is that novelty is free. . . .

I think you underestimate how big a fan of Back To The Future I am. Its the movie that sparked my interest in science and awesomeness. I've been playing it all night and it still feels great to hover around. Also I love Burnout so for me at least its a win, win.
