I have been listening to STP and the Wildabouts since Wednesday getting pumped for a show. I had tickets for the Dec 8th show.

I was lucky and seen STP front row once and seen The Wildabouts at Rock on the Range this year. Very sad weekend for me. STP will always be one of my favorite bands.

RIP Scott Weiland

Dokken's cover of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", which is on my Christmas playlist between Cyndi Lauper's "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and Gene Autry's "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer". Other tracks on my Christmas playlist include three previously mentioned tracks from Christmas Queens, as well as a few Glee songs (covers of "Do They Know It's Christmas?", "Last Christmas" and "Baby It's Cold Outside"), Sarah Brightman's "I Wish It Could be Christmas Everyday" and a few Harry Connick Jr. tracks. There's still a bunch of tracks I wanna add to my playlist, though.

Been spinning these two recently. Embryonic has always been my favorite Flaming Lips album by a considerable margin. Really don't know how I missed Unwound for so long. Unwound - Leaves Turn Inside You gets a huge recommendation from me.

I'm a huge Unwound fan. Leaves is one of the best records of the 2000's in my opinion.
