I've been listening to Ten on repeat for about a week now, mainly because I'm having a hard time getting into Vs.
And also because I get to listen to a good chunk of it unplugged.
Any suggestions on what album to pick up next?

no doubt. "Skating" is the best. And Vince's take on "Greensleeves" is lovely.TSTR wrote:god that Charlie Brown xmas CD is a classic

Kamera Obscura's "Copycat EP" (Symphonic metal). I first heard of this band (from Paris, France) from a Phantom of the Paradise page I follow on Facebook, and the latter mentioned the former's cover of "Somebody Super Like You", which is track 3 of 8 on the EP, with the last few tracks being remixes.
They have two other albums, 2009 Demo (which is free, like Copycat EP) and Dark Reels (which is for sale).
I shared the EP's Bandcamp link on Facebook, got a like from the band, and later on got a private message from one of the members!
Also three tracks from the all-drag-queen Christmas album, Christmas Queens. I plan on getting the full album, but until then here's the three tracks I bought already, put into my Christmas playlist (along with a few Glee songs, the Band Aid 30 version of "Do They Know It's Christmas?", Sarah Brightman's "I Wish it Could Be Christmas Everyday", Dokken's cover of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and Gene Autry's "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer"):
* "Jingle Bells" by Sharon Needles, done as a British punk song (a la Sex Pistols)
* "Everyday is Christmas" by Alaska Thunderfuck
* "Naughty or Nice" by Phi Phi O'Hara. Fun fact, Phi Phi is an avid cosplayer (though technically Phi Phi's cosplay falls more into the realm of crossplay), loves Pokemon and Power Rangers and is MUCH nicer than viewers of Rupaul's Drag Race realize.
