I thought it was to protect her from randy Servbots.
That could very well be. Servbot #26 is a bit of a perv.

I haven't either.

I mean, why draw dicks if you can draw boobs?

BogusMeatFactory wrote:What are some of your favorite action/adventure games out there today. I would agree that a lot of the early PS2 games like the first Ratchet and Clank have issues with camera, but a lot has improved.

I am not really arguing against your disinterest in the system really. I am only really asking, because I do feel there is a lot of potential in the system that people do forget about and maybe by just talking this out, it may spark some interest in other folks.

As for Action/adventure games that I personally enjoy on the system that stand out are the entire Ratchet and Clank Series, the Sly Cooper series, the Jak and Daxter series, the Prince of Persia Series, the Viewtiful Joe series, MDK 2, Beyond Good and Evil, the Dynasty Warrior Series, Dark Cloud series, the ..//hack series, Devil May Cry series, Onimusha series and so much more!

Also if anyone wants a rundown of what these series contain, just let me know and I can elaborate.

Also, there is a really peculiar series out there on the system that I love, even though it is absolutely obtuse, awkward and unusual and that is the Way of the Samurai series. It is a small-scale sandbox game with an unusual combat system. The game revolves around a very simple event and based on your actions, the course of events change to different endings. The game is so strange and I highly recommend for people just to experience, because it is just... weird.
I played most of those action/adventure series you mentioned. I thought Beyond Good and Evil was an amazing game (I should really get the GOG version).

I also really liked Riddle of the Sphinx, Max Payne 1 & 2, Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, Metal Gear Solid 2 (minus the plot) and Resident Evil 4, going beyond the PS2 to the other consoles of the the generation. I'm sure there are others that I can't remember now.

As the PS3/360 generation came, I got into the Dynasty Warriors series, Crackdown, Arkham Asylum, Red Dead Redemption, Infamous, the Uncharted series, etc. I also got more into open-world games with Oblivion and the good Assassin's Creed games (oh yeah, I went there!), and Mercenaries.

Ocarina of Time is VASTLY overrated. It's a good game... Hell, it's even a good Zelda game compared to some other entries in the series. But I have never thought it deserved the worship it receives.

I played the game and the Master Quest version on my GCN at some point in the early 2000s because I came across a reasonably priced copy of that Zelda compilation disc and had heard so many good things about Ocarina over the years.

It was good and I enjoyed it. Was it "the best video game of all time," as the internet often claims?

I didn't think it was THAT good.

That said, I've never played Mega Man Legends. It sounds pretty cool.

A Link to the Past is arguably the height of the series. I'm not the biggest Egoraptor fan but I thought his video on ALttP vs. OoT was spot on.

A Link Between Worlds (3DS) was even better, and it is arguably the best game in the Legend of Zelda series. (The best "Zelda" game remains Okami.)

I disagree. Link Between Worlds was great, but LTTP is still the best Zelda game.

And 3D Dot Game Heroes is still the best "Zelda" game.

I keep forgetting that I have A Link Between Worlds and Skyward Sword, but haven't played either. Maybe I'll actually get on A Link Between Worlds tonight. Maybe it won't just be a nonlinear aping of A Link To The Past as I suspect it is.

I guess finishing the two mediocre DS Zeldas put me off portable Zeldas for a while.

What the hell, I haven't booted my 3DS XL up in months, might as well tonight then.
