That seems seriously inconvenient size-wise. I like it, but it just doesn't seem to be all that usable. I mean, really, as little room as there seems to be in Japan, it just doesn't roll with the flow.
Unless that's from a different country, I'm not versed enough in Asian languages to recognize them on site.

That Japanese 3-alphabet thing is a crime against humanity, I tell you.BoneSnapDeez wrote:
Not quite as much of a crime as having a unique symbol for every single word, though. I recall once hearing that the average Chinese child doesn't learn how to read with any proficiency until age 10.

I never found hiragana and katakana to be that difficult. Kanji I'll never even scratch the surface.
Re: Image Link Dump Thread.
Hiragana and Katakana aren't that difficult to learn once you really spend time studying them.
Hangul, the Korean alphabet, was intentionally designed to be easy to learn, so it can be picked up in a few hours, though Hanguk, Korean written with Chinese pictograms, is considerably more challenging. I'm out of practice now, but it would probably only take a couple of hours for me to refresh my knowledge to be able to read Hangul again.
Chinese I will likely never understand. My brother speaks a little, but now that he lives in China, he has discovered that he knew far less than he thought about the language.
