Hello! I'm new to the site, so i found an old Sony Trinitron model KV-25X5A in really good conditions, i turned it on and i though that the image had gone like off axis so i had the wrong idea possible, i opened up the Geometry in the service mode with the Display+5+VolumeUp method and i messed up all the numbers because i didn't know theyr uses, the question is, is there a method to reset the TV to factory settings or to disable all the electronic modifications?

Re: Sony Trinitron HELP
AFAIK, there's no way to reset those values. That's why everybody warns to write down ALL the values first before changing anything.

;(((( Really?? There is nothing i can do? Wow im sad now... Adjusting the Geometry manually could work?
Re: Sony Trinitron HELP
If you're REALLY desperate, you can bring in a home theater calibrator that specializes in CRTs... otherwise yeah, make sure you write down the original values for EVERYTHING from now on.
Re: Sony Trinitron HELP
If you get the original service manual (PDF) for that *specific* model, there will be default values in the service menu table. Those defaults are not actually correct for any tv, they're just defaults. Every TV had different ones set up at the factory. It's a place to start tho, and (sorta) explains what each setting does. There are ancient stickied forum posts on some home theater forums for Sony service menus in which the community has explored the settings through trial and error, and then explain most of them in greater detail. Just search google for some of the setting names (VPNT, HPOS, etc.)
If you have trouble getting the correct service manual, I can try to find it for you using some bookmarked sites I know of.

For every value there is an "adj" written istead of a number
