Except for marvel vs capcom, every other game was disc only and all scratched to hell. I'm so pissed off and I can't get a hold of them what so ever. I am calling tomorrow to either get my money back or get games complete that has no scratches.

Everyone else that has been getting packages like Dreamcast has been complete and the disc looks great. Man this sucks
Bummer, did you keep the return label. I think that's the only way to return them can't go to the store.
No I finally got a hold of customer service and she said I can return them. I asked if they had cases and manuals for them and I can just get them cleaned but she came back saying that there all used games and that's how they came. So who ever I getting games with cases and manuals are the lucky ones.
Sucks I have to return these but ohh well at least I can get my money back

Yea at least that's the worst case scenario, better chances with the more modern games as those I believe get pulled from the closets stores in your area. Also with the online order see if there is a comments/special message area maybe you can leave a remark stating you'd like your games in such a state.

Well I kinda meant when you place an order can you request complete copies to be sent otherwise your not interested, O well fuck'm.

Can anyone do me a favor and do a local look up on a common game such as call of duty or mass effect and let me know if it shows in your area?

I'm doing searches within my zip for games and everything comes up 60 plus miles away even on games I saw in my local stores.

I was thinking of ordering some dreamcast games myself after seeing how he got some real nice CIB of all those games. But, I was still hesitant about it and I'm glad I kinda of waited seeing your response to the order u just recently made. It sucks that it happen but it goes back to my mentality that if I can not see what I'm getting and paying good money for; then I'm not going to buy it at all.

Some people will get lucky like that which is awesome but the reality is that most time with how GameStop does there gaming inventory it will be disc only. GameStop needs to understand that retro gamers and collectors want to have CIB and they need to note that in what u are buying; or at least give u the option to request your games CIB if they are on hand.

Dude, there's a gameplop three miles from me, but the first hit that comes up when I type in my zip code is FIFTY-NINE miles away. If I scroll down and click the "more" button, I do eventually see my local gameplop. Why isn't this first? Does Gameplop corporate believe I will drive sixty miles for a five dollar game?

Thanks for checking guys, no I don't need either game. Just curious to why all the searches came up so far away, wasn't sure if it was just my browsing acting up or something on their end. I'm guessing they expect us to just come into the stores and hope the game we want is available.

I like this feature especially since not all games are out on display and the employees can sometimes be lazy and don't wanna bother checking for the cheaper games or obscure ones they never heard of.

You know what though, I can't stand the tablet thing they do now to look up your powerup account, all shady and shit turning away walking back and forth, just to be like wow you have 32 pages of games shows you already bought brutal legend for the 8th time.. So the fuck what, you think I trade this shit back into you guys for the 30 cents your offering, sometimes I wipe my ass with it, give it to family, charity, send it to space, line'em all up and see how far I can Ollie past them. I mean really what's the purpose to tablet thing.. Would they like my autograph?

So I thought this all tied together, but if you guys are seeing the same then it's just their system I guess?

That sucks. You'd think they'd run those through a resurfacing machine if they're in that bad of shape.

Speaking of GameStop purchases, I've been going somewhat bonkers buying DS stuff that's super cheap on their website. I've gotten about 13 games for $28 total (with shipping), and I just ordered some more DS/Wii titles as well. I'm not getting my hopes up for the shape the Wii games will be in... but who knows? Maybe I'll get lucky.

Found it odd that I got a gut copy of a game from a random location shipped when I ordered it online. "New" price sticker on it, clear plastic circle sealing it...I had that once from an Amazon seller, but this was Gamestop. Used game condition is a gamble when buying online from them, but this is the first time I didn't just get new/sealed from the warehouse. Seems like a step down, and a reason to stick with Amazon.
