It's every bit as bad as you have heard. It shouldn't have been in a theater, it shouldn't have been a straight to video release, there shouldn't even be a shelf for a straight to video release of this move.
I know. The new TMNT movie wasn't everyone's bag of tea, but compared to TMNT 3 it is fantastic.
The Joker is actually Robin, who turned rogue after...something something. That's where it gets murky. Some say the original Joker nearly killed Robin and Batman left Robin for death.
I don't get caught up in rumors, but watching the trailer for the film, I could see possibly that Robin is now the Joker. Apparently Wonder Woman is a super skinny incredibly cute business woman? Whatever, I hope the writers do go crazy with it.
The theater by my parents' house was showing the Rocketeer, so my brother and I went to see it. We'd seen it back when we were kids and it was fun, but it's interesting watching it as an adult. There are so very many references to things about the 30's that I picked up, including the fairly important character of Howard Hughes.

Last night, my wife and I watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011). It was incredibly well-acted and beautifully directed, and it might have been a great film if it were two hours longer. As it is, there is just too much going on for the screenwriters to fit into a two-hour movie.
