not this year. they made it the "biggest" royal rumble. i hope the return of Kevin Nash and Booker T is the sign of more ex WCW wrestlers are coming to Wrestlemania. i know DDP has already been contacted to be the host for the "best" of Nitro DVD. i hope they get Sting somehow..

Sounds like Nash might be a one time thing then again that could all be part of the story. Maybe we'll see HBK and Big Daddy Cool go into the HOF on the same night.

Good point with the Best of Nitro DVD. That makes these rumors even more likely to be true. WWE is well known for what they'll do to promote something.

Yeah, when I saw Booker I figured it was a one time Rumble thing. Can't believe Nash showed up too. So I guess I did miss something big. I'm surprised he didn't hurt himself making it to the ring. He's about as awkward as the Great Kali

Miz is AWWWWWWESOME!!!!! I'm glad he retained and I'm THRILLED he eliminated Cena. Still doesn't make up for Cena making New Nexus into a fucking joke last night though

Del Rio is very talented, but they haven't made the guy interesting enough yet for him to be worthy of main eventing Wrestlemania. I hope he loses his number 1 contendership somehow between now and then

Edge is awesome, but I'm bored with him. They haven't done anything interesting with him for some time now. Were it any other time of the year I would have wanted to see him drop the belt, but I do see him as way more of a Wrestlemania guy than Dolph Ziggler is so it make sense he's still champ.

Guess my Triple H prediction didn't play out. Guess he's too busy making shitty movies. I did love seeing Booker T though. Was dissapointed to see him not at least eliminate ONE Nexus guy, especially with Cena following him and making New Nexus look like a bunch of jobbers. Sigh

Big props to Morrison. Seems like every year someone has a "Spider-Man" moment at a pay per view and this year it was him. Nice to see some parkour skills on a grand stage. Since him and Miz split, he has definitely been the Marty Jannety of the group, but he is still talented and fun to watch

I'm a huge John Morrison fan. He's like an old-school rockstar, but a wrestler. And he's impressive as hell in the ring. But I also like The Miz. Miz just makes a helluva heel wrestler.

However Marty Jannety was NOTHING without Shawn Michaels, and it showed.

Jannety was a solid in-ring guy. He was high-flying, high-adrenaline athlete with a solid ground-game. What hurt the most was not the fact that he broke a guy's neck and was sued, sure he got drunk a lot of times and was slapped with a subpoena, but that he was kinda wooden on the stick. He was like the Macho Man without the Macho Madness, which in that light, yeah, makes him suck in comparison. As classic clip shows, Jannetty was good. HBK (and the late Hennig, also seen) was just stellar.

Other examples of this include Shelton Benjamin (he did get better) and Lance Storm (who actually used his robotic mannerisms as a gimmick).

I personally think Morrison is above a "spot-fest" guy (Jeff Hardy, WWE RVD), but because he has so many flashy moves in his repertoire (including plenty of solid mat-moves), matches sometimes felt disjointed.

(Booker T and Big Sexy... how old are they now? And what's left in TNA?)

I think Booker T and Big Sexy are in their late 40s or maybe exactly 50. TNA still have Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Mr. Kenn...Anderson, etc. if i was running TNA, i would push Samoa Joe and AJ Styles more. I would not turn Styles to another Rick Flair wannabe. be your own character. geez. also lay off too much gimmick matches and bring back the six sided ring.

and this just in:
TNA sources have indicated that Sting did not sign a new contract for 2011, and many in the company have discussed that he may be heading to WWE. This morning, the New York Daily news reported that Sting had signed a one-year deal with WWE.

I can't believe Sting still dresses up like the Crow. It was pretty lame 12 years ago, but it's beyond ridiculous to being doing it in 2010. I really hope if he does come to WWE he finally ditches it.

Ah, so that is what that's all about. Cool, it's the WWE though, there is a fair chance they won't use him right
