Is it just me? Or did they not even put Christian over after the match?

Cena's such a chikenshit, picking a match where it won't matter if Miz gets a pin on him. He literally CAN'T say, "I quit" so it's a given Cena will win or at the very least, he won't lose. Theoretically, Cena can pass out from all the damage Miz inflicts and still not lose the title

I HATE when Cena picks "I quit" matches because he is putting himself into a match he knows it's IMPOSSIBLE for him to lose in. Frankly, it's kind of heelish if you look at it from that perspective. It's Cena essentially putting himself in a no lose situation.

I am holding on to some hope that WWE is going to work some kind of angle with Christian losing the title. Otherwise, what a dick move by them. I don't want to see a Christian heel turn. I don't think he can pull it off under the current circumstances. The storyline with Edge already puts Christian in the natural babyface role. Orton can play an excellent heel. Orton should piss off the crowd on Smackdown and then bring out Christian to challenge for his rematch. Than let him chase Orton for a while. If he doesn't get the belt back, he'd at least establish himself as a main eventer. It would be cool if Edge was getting in Christian's corner for a few matches. Maybe the writers could even dig up some of Edge and Orton's history. Have Orton piss Edge off by talking shit about him and let Christian be the guy to kick Orton's ass. It may seem weak to use Edge to get Christian more over, but this is wrestling. You get over however you can

Seems like some people LIKE R Truth as a heel as the crowd seems to like playing with him with the what chants, which he has somehow inherited from Steve Austin it seems. Could he inadvertently become a better babyface than he was, because of his heel turn? I like that he's playing the psycho heel role, which has served both Edge and Orton well in the past. He was actually talking to the voices in his head tonight

On a side note, I watched some TNA last week. Let's see if it's as bad as some people have said. I saw a segment with Matt Hardy. Damn, he's a much better talker now than his WWE days. I'm digging Cold Blood

I wonder if you guys can help me get a quick TNA education. There's tons of TNA stuff on youtube so maybe you guys can recommend some awesome feuds, promos, matches, etc.

I just watched this AWESOME match between Gail Kim and Awesome Kong, which makes me want to see some more awesome stuff

Also, is there anyway to check out Ring of Honor besides spending cash and ordering videos? I heard they had a deal with some obscure tv network, but I heard it got cancelled

ROH is on HDNet, which I don't have.

TNA on the other hand, isn't so simple. TNA has a relatively short, yet very complicated history. Tons of wrestlers have come and gone into the organization, both huge superstars and rookies. And TNA's focus seems to shift every couple of years.

But don't get me wrong. I've enjoyed the hell out of TNA since I started watching in 2005. It feels like what WCW would have been if it didn't die, but also had it's budget-cut at the same time.

Nah, their deal with HDnet didn't get renewed, so once again the only way to watch ROH is to purchase live tickets, purchase DVDs or purchase internet-PPV's - the next iPPV in-fact is next month with 'Best in the World 2011' from the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC;

Well worth checking out the show as all the iPPV's ROH has run so far have been excellent and good value for the paltry $14.99 it costs compared to WWE's PPV prices.

Not new. It just swung back this way again. This is like when he tried to get celebrities to appear at Wrestlemania or when Hulk Hogan became a household name. When the market for Attitude dried up, he makes a swing to campy. And if you're going to go campy, might as well profit from as many different angles as you can. (Toys, games, food.)

Also, I just read Captain Charisma becoming champ and wanted to jump on the pat-on-the-back wagon.... only to see the latest swerve. Has Kane retired from being the whipping boy position now?
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.

I just was surprised by the star power on Rock's birthday episode. I was surprised the WWE were able to get all those people as it seems like the WWE hasn't had that kind of mainstream appeal since the Attitude Era. I think it probably says more about Rocky's star power though than it does the popularity of the WWE right now.

I hoped they'd do something interesting with Christian, but they are doing the same, formulaic build up to his next match with Orton that they usually do. I'm seeing a Christian heel turn as almost a sure thing right now as he has taken this whole thing with Orton waaaaaaay to well. It makes me think he's hiding all that shame, embarrassment and anger and that it will boil up to the surface and make him go nuts on Orton for a heel level beat down. Probably getting disqualified in the process. Kind of lame. Edge leaving left them with a huge opportunity to push Christian, but as usual with the WWE, they see a great opportunity, piss all over it, then wonder why ratings are down. Last week's Smackdown actually hit a new low in ratings I heard. They've been dropping since Christian dropped the title it seems

Speaking of which, I've heard that Karma's appearances have caused some rating spikes, while Cole's segments seem to coincide with ratings dropping.

Not hard to figure out what the audience wants WWE. It's all right there in the numbers. Don't be like TNA.....er, I mean, Impact Wrestling
