Czernobog wrote:Congrats on the 7800 KayJay! I love my 7800. So cool to be able to play 2600 games but also pick up those classy silver-stickered 7800 games as well! There's some really fun games to be had on there!
Soldier Blue wrote:The power cable on that thing is going to set you back a peg. It's unique only to the 7800. I have the same issue with the one I found. It did come with one but part of it is broken off. I just naturally assumed mine was broken because the rf shielding is all rusted out and gross and my power button won't push down.. Good luck on getting yours to work!
I have most of the 7800 games. The Arcade ports have a unique exclusive to the 7800; simultaneous two player mode on the screen at the same time, very cool. Asteroids with the two player mode can be played as the classic Vector Arcade Spacewar! A good game to discover is Ball Blazer, though I like it better on the 5200 for the analog stick float controls.KayJay wrote:Thanks man, I appreciate it!Soldier Blue wrote:The power cable on that thing is going to set you back a peg. Yeah, i looked them up, and they're around $20... :O Honestly, It'll probably be awhile until i get it, at least until i have the cash.
Many 7800 games only need one fire button which allows use of a 2600 stick or even a Genesis gamepad, though only one fire button support.Czernobog wrote:True that! I could play Dig Dug emulated perfectly on my computer, but can't resist playing it on my 7800 instead!
I do still need to get one of the European controllers though. The hand cramps can be real.
Buy it from user Jmustang1968. $5 plus shipping. Can't be that bad.KayJay wrote:Soldier Blue wrote:The power cable on that thing is going to set you back a peg. It's unique only to the 7800.
