So I made my rounds today.

Proctorville flea market was dead as could be people were there but it was mostly "Made in China" junk vendors. Got a luckier at the Chesapeake flea market though.

One of the only guys who runs a dedicated 24/7 game stall had some fresh stuff. Ended up picking up Ace combat Zero(PS2) complete along with a cd case with a couple software and game discs for PS2 for $20.

First time I've seen Silent Hill in the wild sadly it's pretty beat up though. Also happy to pick up a PS2 HDD Utility Disc been needing it for a while since I never found a work around to install one that my fatty liked.

Next I for whatever reason decided to pop into the worst goodwill in the area. Got lucky and found some nice $1 PC-games a week or two ago so I decided to see if they had gotten more. Ended up grabbing Earth 2150 which also had 2160 inside, Defenders of the Crown Heroes Live Forever, and War Front Turning Point for $6 since they upped their price to $2 a game  .

Hit one gamestop as well since it was along the way. They were clearing out some of their PC games so I got a "New" shelf copy of Dishonored for $0.97 and Borderlands 2 for $1.97.Already have Dishonored on Steam so if anyone wants a free key pop me a PM(Claimed). Also picked up Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles Ring of Fates(DS) for $6.29.

Finally I hit the pawns and found some nice PS3 games for $5 each. Got Alice Madness Returns, Saw, Twisted Metal, and Warriors: Legends of Troy. Never heard of Legends of Troy but it looks interesting.

Loose, no packaging but in good shape. $10 total. So a nice little find.

Composite AV for the C64.
I was initially shooting for S-Video but then I thought these were good enough as an upgrade from crappy RF.

You still need to find the other gun, Thierry!

This is what I got today! I went to Salvation Army and got some PS2 games: Jak X combat racing, Wallace and Gromit Project Zoo, Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects and Tak and the power of Juju. Plus a nice science book. I heard about it a few years ago "The Immortal LIfe of Henrietta Lacks" $13.00 for all. I hit up another thrift store but it was closing but I got lucky and got an SNES av cable for $1.00. Then I went to my local wednesday fleamarket, but it was really late already. There was nothing left, but a seller still had some stuff put out. The guy had a lot of random stuffs. For a dollar I got toys, cups and other basic things. But for the sake of finds I got all those dvds! A dollar well spent!

I'm certainly after it now!

Nothing makes you feel more like a man than grasping a pink Justifier. That's just a fact. The blue one is for casuals. :P

Since I'm on a bit of a roll here,

Some 2DS/3DS related items,

$120 for the lot.
(Exact amount of 1500 ZAR. Which equates to $120.59)

I just picked up a lot of 2600 games for $60. I already owned most of the games, but I was able to pick up the following through the purchase:

H.E.R.O.
Mr. Do's Castle(!)
Private Eye
Taz

Mr. Do's Castle is the gem here since, according to atariage.com, it is one of the rarest Parker Bros. games. (With a rarity rating of 8, only Q*Bert's Qubes is rarer.) It also sells for an amounts between $35 and $50 on eBay. I have also been seeking H.E.R.O. for some time since it is one of the very best 2600 games, and it also sells for amount between $25 and $45 on eBay. Private Eye (which sells for amounts between $14 and $20) and Taz (which normally sells for $5) are just icing on the cake.

I also got some pretty awesome dupes - including Pengo - and I will PM Bone to see if he wants any before trading or selling them to recoup my costs.

.....

On an unrelated note, I picked up a copy of Epic Mickey: The Power of Illusion (3DS) this morning at Target for $8. It appears to be a 2D sidescrolling homage to Sega's classic "illusion" games, and I am looking forward to trying it out. (I am also always happy to acquire a physical 3DS game on my "want" list for less than $10.)

Very nice. I've never even had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Do's Castle in real life, though a local game shop owner randomly had Q*Bert's Qubes walk into the shop and he just had to show it off to me when I came in. I think he ultimately ended up selling that one online.

H.E.R.O. is awesome. Dsh talked me into buying it for $9 when we were hunting through a consignment shop together and I don't regret it. It's in my top ten for the 2600 now.
