How young are they? It's awesome when you hear about kids appreciating classic JRPGs that wouldn't be able to hold the average child's attention for more than 5 minutes. I guess I can't blame them though, the formula does feel a bit dated if you didn't grow up with it.

When it came out, they just turned 10 & 7. I also got them DQ VI but they prefer IX. Mainly because they can have a girl character. They have also tried the Zelda DS games but they give up too easily when trying to solve a puzzle.
