Both amazing games that really make use of the touch screen in a great way.

87. Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver. Remakes of two of the best Gameboy Color games ever, these games are so incredibly deep you can literally spend several hundred hours and still have things to do. I loved HeartGold so much I imported it upon its Japanese release, and then bought the US release when it came out as well!

Having played every iteration including both the Japanese Red Green and Blue, I can comfortably say that these are the best Pokémon games, period. A shame nobody's mentioned them until no. 87!

That's good to know. I'm actually going to pick up Soul Silver sometimes soon, if I can find it cheap. I think nobody's mentioned them cause the OP said one entry per series, and Pokemon Black was no. 3.
