Racketboy Secret Santa
Re: Racketboy Secret Santa
It's a nice idea, but I know that I personally will be busy with the auction so I'd probably skip this.

but do you feel like it will detract from the charity stuff. I don't want to do anything that will be responsible for messing that up. Just thought it was a fun idea I stole from another forum.dsheinem wrote:It's a nice idea, but I know that I personally will be busy with the auction so I'd probably skip this.

We could just hold off on the idea till Spring. We'll just say Santa was busy playing Ikaruga and didn't make it in time. It sounds too fun to just abandon.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Cool idea would be fun if it wasn't so close to charity.

Re: Racketboy Secret Santa
I'd be up for a spring time one. I've done a couple online Secret Santas in the past and they seem to be a HUGE success and the communities love them. Why should they have to be done around X-mas though? I'm all for doing one mid-year so that it doesnt detract from the charity auction.noiseredux wrote:but do you feel like it will detract from the charity stuff. Re: Racketboy Secret Santa
This could really work, though! Obviously nobody cares about what they get, it could be more for laughs and surprises. So you could put a guideline of $5-10 for the stuff.
If you think it would take away from the charity auction, what if you did this in February or something? Valentine's day? I know it wouldn't be secret santa, but it'd still be fun.
